    Navara with all the heavy duty mods ni sir dvldoc, magmumukhang tractor ang engine bay..hehe

    egr: the thicker the better. material is not important, unless you intend to show it off to your SA the shinier, the better to catch his attention

    my stock engine egt crept past 600C, pero that was during hard, sustained erection, este acceleration... 100kmh to 160 kmh. upwards of 160kmh it actually cooled down a bit.

    it seems the turbocharger is not in overboost at those speeds. chipped on aggressive setting is a different story, 700+ C's will be frequent, you really need that egt gauge to monitor your right foot so you know to when to tell it to back off slightly.

    stock on methanol injection will see a reduction of around 50-100C, depending on your mixture.

    oy jed: kabit mo na yan kit mo, baka anayin na yan. tapos 50:50 mix hehe para ubos agad goma, dami ka naman nun!

    * kimospeed: actually sir marami mga motoring media na kasama dun, i don't see why you and sir LR can't drop by and mingle with us. we are all brother-truckers anyway. heck, maybe you can join the runs as well. UMC will provide the units naman hehehe. panuorin na lang natin si sir mike p kung panu nya laspagin? leadership by example?

    sir, twice ako nag limpmode yesterday, and once 2 weeks ago.. from stop, i was on my first gear run to about half of gas pedal at 2500rpm+ then shifted to 2nd gear then i hit the gas fast to 3/4 of the pedal to give better shoot. biglang nag limp mode and stayed at 2000rpm kahit hinihirit ko yung gas(parang pumitik lang yung rpm sa 3000rpm at bumaba sa 2000rpm.) so i pulled over to the side and remove the keys, same thing happened after about 4 hours...i wast trying this because newly shift ako sa petron turbo diesel and was checking the acceleration.. last march ako nag pms and about 2k plng tinakbo nya from pms. nasa 17k na now c nav ko.. what might have caused this limp mode? my driving? hindi nman siguro, if my driving was the issue, meaning hing sya mag accel ng mabilis kasi mag lilimpmode sya. :please:

    If the engine sensors detect a problem with the fueling system or the engine or the tranny, it will activate the limp mode in modern cars to prevent further damage. it is better to have the casa check it and then post here sana boss the reason for your problem. Most common ata sa CRDi ay yung sa SCV problem and/or EGR needing some cleaning.

    thanks sir, baka maka bisita ako today sa casa.. do i need to have it checked now or ill wait nlng sa nxt pms which is 3000kms more.. i think, puntahan ko nlng para sure.5kms lng naman kasa from house.hehehe

    Please backread about limp mode. Most cases are due to overboost and blocked Air inlet/ clogged filter.

    SCV failure is not yet common to local Navara as compared to other brands..

    if overboost can cause it sir, yun din nga cguro sir yung cause.. kasi nangyayari lng kung biglang hirit ko sa 1st-2nd gear ko.. then mag limpmode sya..

    pero in your case, what's questionable is stock naman ang unit mo. bring it to the dealer pa rin, baka out of sync lang fuel pump or malata na yung spring nung pcv. at least now you have an idea of where to look, hindi ka paikot-ikutin ng mga mekaniko.

    thanks sir, i dont have that much knowledge sa crdi..but sir can you post a picture kung saan ko makikita yung part na yan? hindi ko kasi masyado kinakalikot yung engine..thank you very much sir.. malaking help nga talaga na maka open ako ng gnitong problem dito sa forum..

    Problema pre di ko maappeciate na nga masyado chip + exhaust, nabibitin talaga ako dito sa traffic sa amin. Di naman makatakas para makapag long drive. Tinetest ko pa yung Bilsteins, mukhang maganda.

    good evening mga navara owners!

    tanong ko lang kung illuminated ba lahat ng 6pcs (4-window, 1-door lock, 1-window lock) na switch sa driver's side door? yung amin kasi 5 lang yung umiilaw yung sa window on/off walang light. suspetsa ko tuloy pundido na. Thanks

    there is some improvement in power in regard with the K&N drop in, you can search the part number on the net, its for the 174hp variant ,meaning the 4x4 model, take notice that Thai built navara has smaller airbox than the spain made navs, which are the UK and Australia Navaras, the drop in will not fit your stock airbox unless you cut some portions of the element to fit the size of your OEM air filter, there is a replacement option for drop in filter the Hurricane brand cheaper than K&N , so far no complains from some of the club members
    I think speedlab has both filters, K&N about 5k hurricane i think is 3k or less.

    try po for our thai spec navara K&N part no. 33-2198.

    Sagutin ko nadin yung sarili kong tanong previously. I had some free time today and did a "little surgery" sa driver's side power window switches. wala talagang backlight pala yung main on-off lock switch ng power windows. I counted only five l.e.d. bulbs inside the switch box which incidentally is sourced from Korea (it say's so on the underside). Luckily also I managed to put back everything together without breaking anything.

    Hi guys, just got my brute last may 6. drove it to antipolo the next day and laiya this saturday. i must say, i never thought a truck so big could go so fast. :-) am very happy with it. i have some questions but am still doing some backreading just in case the topics have been discussed. medyo mahaba na yung thread so when i get tired i might just ask outright. :-)
