Good PM po mga sir. Been reading the forums about information since I may buy a new pickup. From what I have read so far it seems like the Navara doesn't have the same problems as the other CRDi pickups (Hilux, Strada, Dmax) with regards to the fuel system(Suction Control Valve) and the dirty diesel here in the Philippines. Why is that? Or have some of you Navara owners also encountered problems with the SCV due to the diesel quality. TIA po!

i think im the only one who have encountered the bad diesel issue here..

i tried to avoid caltex now... and uses turbo diesel only.. but all fix by warranty.. i think all crdi diesel are like that so if your going for crdi careful where you filler up stock diesel(old diesel) can cause problems like any crdi engine...

any CRDI engine can fall prey to the poor dieasel quality in our country. nissan has reduced the fuel filter changes (both primary and secondary filters) to every 10thousand km, apparently because of the poor fuel quality dito sa 'Pinas.

magandang umaga po sa inyo mga bossing.. my nagpalit na ba sa inyo ng evaporator? ang mahal2 pla ng evaporator ng nav 43k sa casa. meron po ba ibang evaporator na fit sa nav or pwdi ilagay sa nav?

Bilib din naman akos a aircon ng Nissan, I had a Cefiro as my service vehicle din dati and wala ako masabi, talagang nagulat lang ako sa corrosion nito sa Navara, feeling ko premature considering bata pa ang sasakyan.

All,

I went to La Union last Friday using the truck. So far okay naman performance nung aircon kahit na tanghali kami pumunta. I can say back to normal siya. Sana lang palitan parin nila knowing na doomed to fail na ang evaporator.

hello everyone.. old member of tsikot but never visited the site for 3yrs i guess 2007 pa,dont know why 2009 yung joindate ko and my post was deleted... my 4x4navara is already 2yrs old..been using on city and offroad to our farm..

mga sir, saan ba maaring mkabili ng lift kits 4-6 inch sana at arb bumper and arb side bar? and ideas on its prices.thanks poh. gusto ko rin sana mkasali sa NCP kaso bacolod ako, di rin ako mkasali sa mga events nyo..

thanks po and more power to navara owners and NCP members.........

There are 2 fuel filters in the engine bay, facing the engine one on the upper rh corner, one to the left of the engine cover.

What is the best StainlesSteel thickness for the EGR mod in the exhaust side? 2mm, 3mm, or 4.5mm ??
I might take 4.5mm Aluminum in the valve side..

2mm stainless steel looks ok bro, if its much thicker it might not seal well. Baka hindi lumapat.

Sir for deisel it is best to use aluminum kasi po madaling kainin nag carbon and stainless lalo na kung sa EGR pag tagal siguradong mabubutas siya. Dito po and gamit namin is aluminum plate po for the EGR mods we use 3mm po.

Diba SS has higher melting pont(1300 C) as compared to Aluminum 600 C ?.. Also SS resist corossion, while Aluminum parang inaanay kapag naexpose sa heat and chemicals.. Sige i might punch na din a couple of Aluminum for the exhaust , anyway diesel hindi umaabot ng 600 C ang EGT..
