Might sched another 2days for that intercooler plus the catchcan mod.. Pwede ba kerosene pang flush sa Intercooler? Nakakatamad kapag walang katulong, sumasakit mga joints ko..haha

BTW i'd been noticing some intermittent squeal sound infront so i also decided to clean front and rear brakes. Front pads seems to be near its replacement mark, do you have any idea for good replacement brands (without damaging stock rotors)?? Rotors seems to be ok pa, the drums are thick pa din..

I know u've done the replacement already, fast Navs wear brakes fast..

madali lang tangalin yung intercooler. take-out grill, un-plug map sensor, loosen all hose clamps, unbolt the two bolts (12mm socket) holding ic to the nav body, pull-out ic, yun na. i uses joy hehe. may laman kasi parang buhangin? parang palpak linis na ginawa ng NE nun nag palit ng turbo.

brake pads... hehe alam na. i tried bendix gct, lakas umubos ng rotor and also squeals from time to time. i went back to stock. i was waiting for the greenstuff to arrive. pero, imo it's the rotor's metal that's the problem. too soft?

Madali lang yun IC kasi nasa outer part.. Pero balak ko kasi since limited time, isabay kona tangalin EGR plus catchcan and 3rd fuel-filter..

Patay tayo dyan, pano nagkaron ng buhangin IC mo, tinagos ang filter? Sige Joy din gamit ko pang engine wash, magaling mag suspend ng oil yung bubbles..

Hehe grabe, naka ilang rotors ka na siguro, dapat sayo racing rotors match nun pads - yan na ba yung greenstuff?? Yun sakin pang daily drive lang, lolo mode pa pag maneho kaya oks na siguro sakin stock.. So w/c means ok na rin yang Hitachi brand at 80k kms not bad na ?

Im revising my catchcan mod kasi, baka fuel filter nalang gamitin ko para mas non-restrictive at pwede palitan anytime yung filter, just modify the WiF para maging oil sensor.. Para narin ako naka Provent mas hightech pa.. Watcha think?

Great minds think alike, I am using one of my extra remote oil filters for a oil catch can, It only makes sense. And much cheaper than the catch can's I have seen there most way over 5000P which is crazy.

actually we do have the pathfinder here, you can purchase one sa black market my neighbor has one, but blue plates ..hehe.. last time i've ask its about 3.5-3.8M

we can only blame the TAXES the gov't. impose sa importation ng used vehicle, 200% of the cost, actually you can buy a porsche at 1.5M pesos sa states, your only problem is bringing it here, kaya sa Port Irene nalang..hehe

mga sir, help po, pina 5k checkup pms ko navara 4x2 mt last week, and complained about black smoke, crvi pasong tamo cleaned it and chage airfilter,oil, & fuel filter, p7k cost. And in 3 days use, it still fumes out gray to black smoke a high revs. they just cleaned the exhaust pipe, carbon build up daw,using high pressure hose. I suspect another part needs replacement or causing it, what do you guys think? I dont want t prolong the problem,if i still have the chance, while its under warranty, just bought it dec. 2010 last year at gallery.

first of all welcome to the forum, just some backround before we proceed ,
1. what diesel do you use?
2. and where do you usually fill up?

what you fill up is a big factor for that black smoke, my neighbor has a Bnew Monty still without plates, nag full tank sa shell sa E Rod after a knee deep flood , ayun para siyang jeep sa taft..hehe. pina drain niya yung diesel kasi may tubig na madumi pa.

take small steps muna since bago pa unit mo. I use SEAOIL Diesel, try to find one na alam mong hindi binabaha, try it for a week or so on a full tank.

Have them clean the MAF sensor and reset the ecu, it might do the trick. I'd wait till I'm almost empty before filling up with different diesel brands. I got a bit of black smoke on mine as well when I mixed half a tank of Caltex with Total diesel.

from what i've read its a Euro 4-5 compliant, meaning its cleaner than most of the diesel sold here, i've tried all brands before i decided to stick with this one,

try it for a week but fill up when you are almost drained, if that doesn't solve your problem, then reset your ECU, I can help you out with that one, and the less cost solution have your catalytic removed

Mga sirs, same lang ba ng size ang filter ang 4x2 at 4x4 ng navara 2009? Gugupitin ko na kasi yung k&N for navara kaya gusto ko makasiguro. Pagpapatungin ko sana para sukat na sukat. Anjan ka pala boss geckoguy! hehe! Salamat mga boss!
