no sir, all stock na nav. broken impeller shaft. spewed white smoke and oil across 4 lanes of nlex. garrett turbos are supposed to withstand 280,000 rpm and up to 1,000*C. go figure?
due na sya actually for 75k PMS when $h!* happened. way before nung 50k pms may naririnig na din sila na 'intermittent sound when starting'. dun sa area nung turbo meron rattle pero abrupt lang saka 1 in 100x lang lumalabas. kaya hangang nung nangyari hindi pa rin nakita.

gtb2260vk-eto yung vnt na gamit ng bmw and audi sa mga 3.0d nila. good for 214 hp with stock boost. eto sana isasalpak ko. i was scouring na nga capalangan for our stock gt2056v pero as RRL put it: nasira na nga yung stock ganun din ipapalit mo? better upgrade na lang kung mapagastos ka lang din. medyo muntik na nga mapa-order hehe. sayang dami na na-research tungkol dito

yep! slider SA ko. dun pa si nav if you want to have a look. i don't know lang kung nalinis na oil sa loob nung exhaust, nung cat, nung egr, saka intercooler. haiz...dun sya sa tapat nung white 4x4 with a blown motor. katok daw sa overheat. yun daw ang talagang wala pms whatsoever

Broken impeller shaft, then nalaglag or nanikit?..Tagas nga langis mo nyan sisirit sa bearing. Kaya siguro naquestion yung change oil mo, one of the reasons yang oil deprivation sa broken shafts. Or baka lumampas ka ng 280k rpm sa bilis mo..hehe

Ayos yan turbo upgrade kagad after warranty expire, yan ba yung ceramic impeller na?.. Akodin tatadtarin ng mods sa engine next year, unahin ko yung alcohol injection mukhang maganda sa turbo.

Slider din SA ko may pending claim ako ng shocks sa kanya. Natanong ko din dati meron din sila EGR cleaning service, hindi ko lang inalam kung magkano. Sana maayos na Nav mo. Hirap din kasi mag maintain ng CRDI lalo na warranty, daming maintenance kelangan tutukan.

Hi all Pardon my ignorance, i was cleaning the car today when i spotted a little red button behind the Hood release of the navara, Do you guys know what it its? what does it do? Should i keep my self away from this button?

if it is a single wire dangling with a red button, that would be your valet/service button for your car alarm for manual over ride , no need to touch this unless you need to reset or reconfigure your alarm sys.

for the pics, upload your photos on photo sharing sites, photobucket etc.. copy the img file of your pic and paste it on the reply box

By the My nav will be having its 5000km Maintenance next week what should i look for or what should i chek for when having this done?

5k maintenance will be done by Nissan Gallery Quezon Ave. Kindly advice

guess what guys, UMC's Ms. Tet Bugayong called me up a little past 11 am today. I've been ranting about my turbo's warranty for the past few days apparently when the UMC higher ups already reconsidered since last friday to replace my turbo free of charge- through their goodwill. it just so happened that everyone involved went for their long vacation early so the info didn't get sent down till today . Well but i'm not one to complain when i'm being handed a brand new turbo unit. their only request: that i have all pms done only at a nissan dealership. what the heck, THANKS NISSAN - UMC!

i was kinda looking forward to upgrading the turbo to a gtb2260vk. deym....

out of goodwill? wtf its nissan's fault they should fix it... goodwill word is insulting lol anyway success is still a success congrats :D

I agree with you sir but as with anything else as long as the end result is the same we should be happy and not dwell too much on the circumstances. I know a lot of other people who've had a crapload of problems with their cars (other makes) under warranty and had to settle for rebuilt parts even though they should've been replaced.

I bet they gave cydepx44 a good hell of a scare though.

19,500 including the alignment. yung spacer sa front gawa nila and also the shackels. yung shocks procomp. the looks improved definitely, the ride i think is slightly better than the stock (due to the longer shackel IMO )

thanks cypedx.. sensya na d ko pa na-post pic. yung spacer sa harap palagay ko kayang kaya kopyahin bro oj- d naman patented hehe. 1 and 1/8in. ang thickness (optimal value na hindi magtatama yung upper arm - according to them ) nag start daw sila putting 2inches until masakto na sa 1 & 1/8.

Hi guys... it's been a long time since i revisited this forum but I just want to share a unfortunate incident with my 4x2 nissan navara. It happened late august when i passed through a flood (about 1 & 1/2 feet) in our village road one rainy evening. The next day, I found out that there was something wrong with the vehicle as it had problem especially when I put on the breaks. I was noticing that the abs was functioning that's why it wasn't running smoothly.

I called an ex-mechanic from Nissan Davao and he diagnose the problem and found out that the abs kept on activating. He immediately detached the battery and reconnect it after a few minutes. and the unit return to normalcy.

Another incident also happened when i also drove through a flood for 500meters. my unit passed through the knee depth flood successfully. However, I found out that when I try to shift it to 5th gear, the vehicle had a hard time reaching 100kmh... I also notice it because it had a hard time overtaking an Innova... I was so worried because when i pass a 2 km straight road, It failed to reached 130kmh and before I was just cruising at 140kmh-150kmh on that road. So when i called up the mechanic, i told him the problem and he advise me to disconnect the battery and reconnect if after 3-5 minutes. To my surprise it worked because when i got back to davao, the vehicle was running to its normal condition.

The mechanic told me that it may have affected one of the sensor of the engine that dictates on how much fuel/diesel must be infuse on the engine with regards to the rpm.

I don't know guys if you have experience this kind of trouble but i hope you can share some knowledge with this bad experience.
