sir mazzipino niticed you had a 2 point backing sensor intalled, madali lang ba sya ilagay considering Metal yung Kinabitan? I have been planning on installing one But sad to say Yung Nissan(Legaspi) dito saamin ayaw nila magkabit they dont have the proper tools to install one daw ayaw ko naman ipa kabit sa kahit saan lang baka mag karoon dent yung bumper.

Got it done at the casa when I bought the car. So far so good naman.

Same with Nissan Westgate Alabang, they didn't want to install the sensors. But Nissan CRVI Makati were more accommodating.

UMC will have an event for NAVARACLUBPH, this October at San Mateo Rizal, they have different stages or courses for us to take , like best lap time for uphill /downhill (tarmac) , off road sessions ,most good looking owner ,Mr. photogenic etc.... they will provide nissan navaras for those who do not want to use their own trucks for the off roading session etc..we will be divided by groups and to be accompanied by an instructor paired with us NCP members are some media personality and customers, so all in all 4 people will be on a Navara . this is a whole day event, they will conduct clinic for us owners, given different road conditions , driving tips and proper care for our truck, UMC Big Boss MS. Elizabeth Lee will join us together with other VIPs from Nissan.

Food and GAS will be provided , as well as event shirts and short shorts ,belt bags /stickers etc

they have prepared nice prices for the participants for the contest !!

Ipod touch and Nano
Cash Prizes

Just got a Navara about a month ago (my first vehicle was 1999 Nissan Frontier). Its actually a 2008 model,that has logged about 13,000kms and bought second hand. It's now nearing its 15,000kms and was planning to have it scheduled for PMS. Questions:

1. Aside from change oil and the like, what other services are being done on the 15,000 PMS. Also how much would it typically cost?

2. I live within the Makati area, which would offer better service CRVI or Mantrade?

3. I got the unit as is and without an owner's manual. Do you know how I can be able to secure one.

Welcome to Tsikot *shaunmarsl and congrats to you in getting the Nav.

1. PMS Procedure is indicated on the Warranty and Service Booklet provided, but here's the procedure anyway - Clean Air Filter, Inspect brake, wheels, drivetrain components. Check also if turbo solenoid actuator has been corrected already.

2. Ive heared good feedbacks with CRVI, better try them both and compare on your next PMS.

3. You can order a copy from any dealer, you have to pay for the cost of hard copy. You can also download softcopy, just backread - try to search using tsikot search function.

Anyone tried crankcase ventilator mod? I have extra air filters but reluctant to use since its 3/4" inlet and outlet might be too restrictive.

Hi Sir shaunmarsl, Welcome to the tsikot forum and also congratulation on your new truck!

if you are in makati area, I can hook you up with CRVI for your PMS and other concerns, Look for Ferdie ofc.# 8167073 loc 120 head of Customer relations dept. tell him you were referred by Richie of the NavaraClub, tell him what your concerns are and he will gladly instruct you what to do, there are a bunch of helpfull Service Advisors also to help you out, Patrick /john /julius.

for your 15k PMs, if I remember it right its about 3-4k , better yet call ferdie just to be sure.

Has anyone change their stock head unit with after market ones? What brands can you suggest? Ideal para sa akin yung touch screen, with mp3-ipod-usb function, and of course excellent sound quality
