Martilyo lang katapat nyan sir.. Seriously, if you could use a balljoint popper, thats the better tool. Check around google, may greasable type replacement yta nyan.

^How many kms on the odo? Clutch driver ka ba or laging kinakargahan ng mabigat? Ang tendency ng driver kung mabigat ang dala is to ride on the clutch kaya madali masira. At the OE price you could get the parts from au may sukli ka pa. Home

Try mo din muna i-bleed ang clutch. Some 2months ago may hard shifting din ako, bleed the slave (mga 1/4 liter old fluid din ang narecover) then after that back to normal clearance ang clutch pedal, no more sabit sa 1st & 2nd gear.

Tnks

Hi sirs. Has anyone experienced continuous blinking of the airbag light for their unit? Btw mine is a 2008 4x2.

Mine started just before the holy week break. I noticed it while parked on the upper floors of GT tower, my front wheels slightly bumped the dividers of the ramp going up, barely noticed that I was too close to that side.

Had it diagnosed via computer by Nissan in our province and was told that driver airbag module needs to be replaced. Cost is around 56k, so I decided not to proceed with the repairs. The mechanic and service advisor told me that I was the third case they had with a similar problem and the other two decided not to have their airbags replaced.

I also searched the net if there's a way to stop the blinking and found one by turning the key on and off several times. It worked for just a day and the blinking returned.

Would like to know if there are other ways I could stop the blinking apart from replacement of the airbag module.

    Thanks.

Yes there is another solution, open the airbag module, download the eeprom data, then edit or upload a new eeprom data without the crash content.

Kapag nag trigger or false trigger kasi ang airbag mo, yung airbag module mo mag record yan sa memory nya ng crash data, so dapat i-reprogram yung eeprom, mura lang yan, mga 2.5k solve na yan.

^ Have you tried the airbag reset procedure. Its the simpliest approach before doing the memory reflashing. Guide is all over the net but here's the original one from clubrontier. Pesky Airbag light!! - Nissan Frontier Forum I think it works for all D40's - Thais Spain, US. Petrol Diesel, V6.

It will help if you could read the specific error code. Problem could be just a loose wire or connection in the clockspring airbag controller sensing an open circuit. How to read the code if you dont have OBD2 reader is also described in the link.

edit. post ko na rin for everybody's reference:

    RESET METHOD:

If you have the airbag light blinking here is how to reset it:

    1. Turn the key from off to on.

    2. Watch the airbag light closely. It will stay on for a few secs. and then as soon as it blinks off (the start of the flashing), turn the key off instantly.

    3. Count to 5 (1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi . . . .)

    4. Repeat steps 1-3 two more times until you have done the cycle three times.

    5. Now turn the key on and watch the light. It will start blinking in a different, slower manner. This is diagnostic mode. You can watch this for a little while, no hurry.

    6. Now turn the key off again, Count to 5 like in step 3 again, and turn back on. If the procedure worked, the airbag light will not be flashing.

If it does not work the first time, just repeat the steps again.
    Checking Airbag Codes!

If your airbag light flashes after 7 secs, then you need to run the airbag diagnostic codes, if your airbag light does not shut off after 7 secs then the airbag ECM needs to be replaced. To run the codes you must enter the first diagnostic mode, from there you can read the number of light flashed to see what the problem is. The second diagnostic mode is meant to show what codes have been cleared, and is not useful for diagnosing problem.

There are 3 modes for the airbag ECM diagnostic unit:
    User (Normal)
    Present (Diagnostic Mode 1)
    Initial (Diagnostic Mode 2)

    User (Normal):
This is the mode your car is in when it is not in diagnostic mode, it needs to be left in this mode for proper use of the SRS system, be sure to return the ECM to this mode after completing diagnostics.
    Present (Diagnostic Mode 1):
This mode will display the codes causing the error in the SRS system, the number of short flashes of the airbag light corresponds to the error code.
    Initial (Diagnostic Mode 2):
This mode is only useful to see what codes have been cleared, it will also show what code is causing the problem.

Most people, if ever, will only need to enter mode 1, follow the instructions below, simply ignoring the mode 2 instructions.

To enter Diagnostic Mode 1 you will need to activate the drivers side door switch(located in the door jamb near the latch striker) at least 5 times within 7 seconds after the ignition is turn to on.

To enter Diagnostic Mode 2 you will need to turn the key off then back to on, then activate the drivers side door switch once AFTER the ignition has been turned on for 7 secs.

To exit Diagnostic Mode 2 you will need to turn the key off then back to on, then activate the drivers side door switch once AFTER the ignition has been turned on for 7 secs.

To exit Diagnostic Mode 1 you will need to turn the key off then back to on, then activate the drivers side door switch(located in the door jamb near the latch striker) at least 5 times within 7 seconds after the ignition is turn to on.

Now for a visualadaptation from the FSM)

Before switching between the modes shown above remember to turn the key off then on, otherwise the system cannot accept the door switch inputs.

After switching to mode 1 the "Airbag" light will flash once long, indicating the code series is about to start, the following number of short flashes is the number of the code causing the error in the SRS system. If the airbag light flashes on for 2 secs and off for 3 secs then that indicates no problem, or an intermittent problem.

1- Safing Sensor circuit is out of order.
2- Driver's air bag module circuit is out of order.
3- Tunnel sensor circuit is out of order.
4- Right crash zone sensor circuit is out of order.
5- Left crash zone sensor circuit is out of order.
6- Center crash zone sensor circuit is out of order.
7- Diagnosis unit is out of order.
8- Front Passenger air bag module circuit is out of order.
9- More than 2 parts of the SRS system are out of order.

Thanks sir 12vdc, appreciate your inputs very much. I have actually tried the reset mode. Worked for a couple of hours but blinking returned again.

I haven't tried the procedure for checking error codes, will try it at soonest possible time. I however have it diagnosed in Nissan Bataan and all they have told me is that based on computer reading airbag module needs to be replaced.

^ I would get a printout of consult2 see the specific code. If it does confirm airbag prob, i guess someone could double check clocksprings are not open else the reflashing as described by sir vvti2 should be the next route.

    Replacement parts?

    Nisman
    Nisparts
    Youngbros

    Search nlang contact, etc..
