So I'm kindly asking if anyone knows any other brands or other shops which may stock this (or something very similar to this design)? I have seen other full box brands but only in pictures from Thailand etc...

    TIA!

RUSTPROOF to protect you truck from kalawang Vs Stock with leather scent-fresh smelling interior?

Is it worth it? At the rate I'm using my truck, sigurado naman di ako aabot sa 76k kms.. pero andyan na yan eh. Amoy karpentero na tuloy si Brutus.
    Hi sir softop!

Try nyo po maglagay ng isang lyanera ng uling sa loob kung medyo matindi po talaga kahit dalawa na, under the fronts seats nyo po ilagay....

Im very much sure na makakatulong po iyon sa pagtangal ng amoy...

Yup, uling would help, also try to find sa Ace or True Value yung mga Odor Absorbers, usually ginagamit yan sa mga REF, it comes in small boxes, just ask yung mga tao dun, sabihin mo inabot ka sa loob ng Pick up mo, kelangan maalis agad ang amoy

out of curiosity sir, how often do you wash your nav? kasi regular washing daw can help minimize rust or corrosion.

BTW guys, do our naves come with ELECTRONIC RUSTPROOFING already?

I did some reasearch and they say that newer cars are already installed with it. I just can't confirm kung meron din ang navs natin.

Meron "ozonizer" ang BigBerts, para mapatay lahat ng odors inside the car. Part yata nang interior detailing package nila? You can ask them.

Para sa akin, pinaka-effective pampaalis ng odors is an ionizer. Pili ka na lang nung real ionizer, baka kasi japeks lang yung ibang nabibili sa tabi-tabi...

every morning if i have too. i rarely go out with a dirty nav. i wash it as per meguiar's recommendations of 2 buckets, then i dry it with microfibre towels and my makita blower.

Improve performance as in increase HP? Maybe for Petrol yes since ignition is dependent on electrical current.

I installed additional ground because i've noticed stock-gauge4 negative-wire is connected to 2parts only-the right-side body and engine block.
From my previous vehicles, as they age those grounding contacts corrode, additional grounding improves service life of those contacts by distributing evenly the current. Plus CRDIs have lots of electronic-sensors, you dont want to deprive with ground for them to send the signals correctly.

Only noticeable difference as of now is the consistent power-draw when blinkers, headlights, and turbine horn is on (no dimming)

Tawas?? You guys are funny! Hahahahahahahaha! That's what my driver is using. Effective daw sa kachichas nya...

Ok, I've tried almost everything you guys mentioned here:

    1. Uling (Tnx locoroco777 and Oj)
    2. Odor absorber, california scents from Ace (Tnx Oj)
    3. Ionizer (Tnx paolorenzo)

I know already why none of these worked. The rustproof guy sprayed the gooey stuff inside the door panels at full coating. Normally, they would spray it only on the lower-half part of the door and that's it! -It's good to go. Now this guy, nagpasikat siguro sa'kin, sprayed it full. Badtrif!

Maybe it's good for my truck, di na talaga kakalawangin, pero ang downside, sobrang baho talaga. Smells like wings in tagalog. What they should have done is parked it in the open and let the chemical/s dry out first before putting back the door panels. They could've given me a heads-up on this.. pwede naman ako naghintay kahit one week pa.

Sarsa night tonight at 6:30pm, The fort. Ang sawsawan daw lechon! Grrrrrr! Daming gimmick nang NCP ah? Kitakits!

I like it (The full box, not the ridgeline. The ridgeline's ugglyyy ). Since it wasn't available for the Navara, I opted for this:

10k deposit, a further 37k upon installation, 20k cheaper than Carryboy's full box, suits my needs perfectly

i see so installing one wont be that noticeable thank you for that info
By the way has any of you guys installed an aftermarket air-filters on your ride?
Just learned and verified through some shops that the K&N Drop in air-filters
doesn't fit on our nav. can you recommend any other brand or performance air-filters
that is available and will fit on the Navara? thank you guys in advance

Know what I've tried in my car.... Coffee Beans! Not the granules ha... Whole roasted coffee beans na nilagay ko sa pouch.

You can also try candles na asa jar... hehehe kahit sa ilalim ng upuan... I love the smell of apple cinnamon!

you know what guys, i've been through the whole she-bang of this full rustproofing sh#t with my old trusty ride (not my navara, still savoring the nice new leather smell nya ). there is no other way but to endure the smell of hydrocarbon vapors for the first 2 weeks. it would help accelerate the process if you leave your ride with open windows preferably under direct sunlight (assuming you got safe place to leave it like that). but even with all your efforts, be prepared to endure the smell for the next month or so. by that time, naka-acclimatize na ilong mo.

    * ladyrider, agree ako coffe beans smell good but will work only after most of the vapors has evaporated na, like 2-3wks after. charcoal may also help absorb the smell.

Instead of charcoal try activated carbon. This is available at petshops. What I would do is leave it open in the sun during the day and then put the activated carbon/baking soda in when you have to close it up at night.

Coffee beans in the car sounds really good. Masubukan nga. Hindi ka siguro aantukin pag ito gamit mo. Hehe

I know of a lot of guys who would disagree to this statement...

For those looking for aftermarket air filters for the nav, meron yata ang Hurricane.

    http://www.hurricaneairfilters.com/HS-0113.html

May nakita ako nagbebenta sa KotseAudioClub (GIAN 09189081984). FYI na lang, di ko kaano-ano si Gian.
