Im not sure bro. Yang silicon spray gamit ko sa weather strips ng doors, it leaves a powdery white residue.. The grease is tacky. Try mo siguro spray sa brake fluid and see how it reacts, not good if it dissolves. The idea is to cover/insulate the rubber and sliding pin cylinder with grease para hindi kalawangin. Brake fluid being hygroscopic tendency po talaga ay to pool water on the lowest part of the brake system kaya yang cylinder valves pins ang unang inaatake ng kalawang kung hindi madalas ang brake fluid renewal..

Parang pwede substitute yung electronics silicone grease that comes in small tube, same tackyness and color.. Wag yung silicone thermal compound ginagamit sa heatsink..

Edsa shang some yrs ago. Dami nyan sa concorde, may time lang mbilis maubos. Sa workstation, mdami mga anti seize cooper and silver compound.

Good to know tama pala yung na troll ko na measurements. Baka matigas masyado yung 1.25" spacer bro. Or baka naman di na ako masyadong bata kaya ramdam ko na lahat. Also from your previous posts I can tell you like going through corners fast, baka ma miss mo yun pag masyadong tumaas hehe.

Pag may time na di gamit yung truck I-drop ko na lang siguro ng 1/2" to 3/4" yung front ko and see how softer it gets. Mas malambot na kasi ngayon yung rear sa front.

Kung standard suspension I suggest Koni Heavy Track front and rear. To me the closest to OEM comfort of all the shocks I've tried so far. From LR and other forums they also seem to last as long as the Bilsteins. Rebound adjustable but you have to remove the shock to adjust it.

Yung Nitrocharger sport parang hybrid monotube na rin, stiffer sya than stock. It's not adjustable. Handling is better than stock.

Yung Rancho adjustable yata yung rebound via a knob on the shock. Durability lang ang di ko sure pero marami na rin nagustuhan ang ride.

Pansin ko lang sa aftermarket shocks malaki ang nawawala sa body shudder pag nalulubak ng malakas. Sa shocks ko ngayon wala halos body shudder. Underdamped talaga OEM. OEMs seem to be designed to be replaced frequently para maganda ang kita ni stealership at factory.

OT. I met the D23 at showroom.. Mukhang ok ito additional sa fleet, pang occassional hauling..

i'm more concerned on the shock height as they are a replacement for US Frontier and I'm not really sure how it fits for a non-lifted Thai Navara.

How did you find it? The only things I didn't like are:
1. Rear bench is a little low
2. Rear legroom seems less (floor mounted cupholders behind the center console don't help)
3. Noisier engine
4. Steering seems a little heavier
Other than that it's golden.

I just noticed the 4x4 rear camera isn't mounted at a center position, off-center rin siguro image nyan. One of my pet peeves. Hehe.

I'll take measurements of the Konis when I have the time. I don't think there's much difference in suspension between the US Frontier and the Navara. The Konis I use are primarily for the European market. So they'll be for the Spain built Navara. Worked well here. OME market is mainly Australia and USA. In Australia they get both the Thai built and Spain built Navara.

Its okay. What i dont like is the small tools compartment under the rear seats, rear backrest is fixed no more compartment there. I also noticed the low seating in the rear, but atleast its no longer very upright position like the d40.

I also noticed the air pre cleaner is no longer mounted on the fender, it has a snorkel with opening front-facing about the height of the right headlamp. This is mo good for headlamp high water fording..


And this filmsy priming bulb.. I still trust the 2 fuel filters setup..

Yup, pwede sa shims pero eventually it will dry up kung madalas babad sa preno dahil sa lower boiling point.

Copper or silver(zinc,tin mix) for external brake mechanism exposed to hi-temp due to friction like brake pads shims/ backside of brake pads- for anti squeal/gailing.
