Yan na nakalagay now in replacement sa TDT. Can't find any difference, I still hit 100kph at 2k RPM, same noise, same NVH, same FC, Scanguage reads same temps at 87-91 nominal at 89'C. Yung coolant ang pending na ittry ko.

question lang about sa YD25DDTi engines, ano physical difference(s) ng mid power sa high power?
i tried using search pero walang result about yd25, pero base sa google, turbo lang daw ang difference nila? totoo ba?wala na ibang

I reckon, they have the same vacuum operated variable turbo vanes but different boost control settings by the computer. Everything else with the engine is the same.. Also the high 174ps got coolant lines/jacket in the turbo, maybe thats the only hardware difference.
May nilabas sila Brute edition 4x4 MID engine. Sa AU lang naglabas ng 174PS 4x2 and lahat ng 4x2 dito low rider(axle over leaves).
Tune mo na lang plus alcohol injection i'm sure lampas pa sa 174PS. TBHonest, yung mid ay malakas na, sumisibak ng ibang pickup sa hiway(maybe depends on driver most of the time), wag lang sa dead-start & inclines at paiiyakin mo muna ang turbo to get the torque.
*12vdc pede yan np300 pero need to save more pa pag yan ang daang tinahak haha.
pede paki explain pa ng onti yun papaiyakin to get a torque? mga ilan rpm?
i assume kasi na 1.5k to 2k kaya/okay na?? i based that assumption sa figures from the specs sheet and base na din sa exp ko sa b13 with an engine swapped, onti rpm lang lakas na ng torque hehehe.

what would you prefer mga sir, d40 with yd25 high or d22 with yd25 high(engine swap, can it be done)?
AFAIK only in EU and AU markets merong D22 YD25 and its using Low(98KW). Note - MID is 103kw while High is 128kw. Ang D22 na nirelease ng UMC dito ay QD32 & TD27 (hindi nila nirelease yung ZD30 1st generation commonrail engine tulad ng sa Patrol. Kung transplant naman it would cost you more since computer controlled na ang YD engine.
The NP300(D23) will be using 2 engines. The improved YD25(called super power) but with higher tune at 140kW.They made it possible using higher injection pressure, piezo electric injectors, upgraded cylinder head, and electronic VGT. The newer 2.3Litre YS23 twin turbo will have same power(140kW), has longer stroke, torque wakes earlier at 1.5k RPM, and will be using electronic oil pump.
Sad but true, the direction is towards smaller, more efficient engines. Displacement is now replaced by forced induction and eventually paliitian na ng makina due to stricter environmental standards. Baka in few years time 1 litre na lang at quad turbo ang makina ng mga pickup.
IMO if you're in a hurry, just get the current 4x2 D40 and enjoy the 2.5L 4 bangers while its availalble..

From the manual - M/T Gear Oil: 75W-85 API GL-4. Wala ako mahanap nyan kaya 75W90 GL4/GL5 ginamit ko, yan din kasi recommended ni Motul. Yung differential ang 75W-140 API GL-5.Ask ko pala anu gear oil sa manual 75w 90 o 85w 140 ? Thanks
Yung latest na ginamit ko sa gear & final drive is mitasu (previous page), i think same performance at 1/4 the cost of motul.

May binebenta kasi sakin sir 96362 ang odometer and 2009 model siya na 4x2 mt. Bali pinagpipilian ko bilhin is navara pati dmax kasi hassle magpalit ng timing belt sir malayo kasi samin so i need a chain driven engine. Ang gusto ko kasi sa navara konti daw yung body roll tsaka mas maporma siya kesa dmax.
^Mine is 2010 nasira at 70k kms, pag sa casa mga 100k magagastos with labor. Di itawad mo yung pag pagawa sa dmf at clutch kit. Mag back read ka dito me post ako at sir 12vdc
