Madali lang yan kung may gamit, kahit ako sa bahay lang nakapg palit na sa FX at sa corolla. Kelangan lang ng magandang jack para paghiwalay ng gearbox and may copy ka ng shop manual para sa torque settings. Ilan na pala mileage? baka kasi kelangan na rin palitan mga oil seals.

Ang maselan lang dyan yung crankshaft sensor, yun yata una tinatanggal sa flywheel. Kung mali naman ang kabit, out of timing kaya hindi aandar. Alam na yan ng mechanic kung dati na nakapgpalit sa m/t commonrail diesels.

^ I get my OEs from Nisman(backread and search na lang sir for details). Heres the PN numbers for you..

Primary: 16403 06J0A (PHP1450)
Secondary: 16403 7F40A / Mann Hummel WK 940/22 (PHP2200)

And here are the replacements..

Primary - 16405-01T0A, 16405-01T70, 16403-06J60 (fits most nissan trucks vans suv's), Donaldson P502167
Secondary - none

And my advice is.. dont go cheap on fuel filters, use only OEM, replace them every 10k kms. Those replacements maybe cheap but dont offer better filtration than OE. I already did some analysis few years back about fuelfilters and nothing beats the originally supplied. They are tropicalized to adapt our dirty fuel for YD CR engine.

btw, plan ko kasi ako ang gumawa ng 10k pms (70k pms) ko.
so the usual
change air filter
change oil
change oil filter
change fuel filters
check brake fluid level
check transmission oil level

ang hindi ko alam is kung ano ano yung mga nilulubricate bukod sa door hinges (white litium grease ang pang lubricate dito right?) and meron pa ata yung mga rubber seals na nilulubricate din (silicon grease naman ata?)
also kung ano ano yung mga nuts na hinihigpitan nila kada 10k pms.

^Lithium grease is OK with metal parts. Use silicon grease for rubbers, plastics, electricals, waterproofing.

Hindi ko tanda kung may hinigpitan casa na nuts during PMS. Ang alam ko lang suspension ang hinigpitan nila nung nag complain ako sa noise, apparently it was the body mounts that i fixed myself. Since im servicing it on my own right after the warrantey expired, I just inspect the suspension, steering, drivetrain parts and those that moves underneath. Sa engine naman the usual wear parts like belts, pulley bearings, solenoids. So far, i already cleaned the intercooler once, flushed the cooling system, flushed the hydraulics, cleaned the maf, replaced caliper pins and body mounts, replaced front shocks, and other minors like interior lamp bulb, hood stay clip, brakes pads.

Just an advice though if youre planning to do your own PMS, its best to have a torque wrench/ proper tools and copy of shop manual. Lagay ka na rin ng EGR blanking plate and oil catch can as your first mod.

Sir taga manila ka ba. Hahaha pwede ba kita bisitahin minsan para magpaturo nung mga di ko pa alam. So far ang alam ko lang suspension, maf cleaning, electrical, egr blanking nagawa ko na rin. Yang oil catch can. Ipon muna. Yep I got the torque wrench and the d40 service manual as reference sa mga factory specified torque ng mga bolt

Hehe.. baka mas madami ka pa sakin alam, yup MetroManila area. Sounds like you are doing your homework. Very easy naman mag maintain basta may tools and kodigo. Yung skills will follow kung gearheaded ka.

Re Oil catch-can, under observation pa yung largest catch-can with mesh 100.

Yun ang wala ako ser, hindi ko pa tapos gawin yung dream garage ko sa province with 2 lifters..hehe
Sa garahe lang ng building ko ginagawa after office. Kamusta yung clutch, flywheel ba o input shaft bearing lang?

Clutch kit at flywheel sir have it done in Nissan gallery quezon ave. Mas maayos ang mga Tao dun di agad ako inubliga na flywheel at clutch. Ni refer ako ng tropa ko eh sa mga Tao dun they give me discount on parts and labor kaya cheers to them. Yesterday ko lng nakuha so far so good. Ang gumawa eh yung senior nila dun kasama yung maestro Nila hehe

Got it from Nisman in masangkay pero sabi sa aken don mas malapit daw ako sa nispro. Same lang naman daw sila pati sa price. Don na lang daw ako pumunta next time.

Ano po ang sira dyan? Parang pwede pa i-machine yung flywheel hindi lang nga kita kung basag na springs sa loob, yung clutch cover ang malalim na.

So LUK pa rin pala gumagawa ng DMF ng NAV, wala pa rin reinforced version.

Ingat lang po if you want it DIY replaced. You have to clamp the hose or use compressor to pump back/ prime the new filters.
