    hi sir chng238,

    I presume that the current Strada and Montero Sport has the same bumper size and is of the same mounting brackets since I was also told that half of the Chassis of the Montero Sport (front) comes from the Strada and the back was designed based on the 1st Gen Montero Sport. The overall width for the whole Montero Sport lineup is just 15mm wider than the current Strada GLS Sport/GLS 4x4 probably due to slightly beefier looking fender flares.

    ...and i also responded to your email. Thanks very much for sharing.

    oh just recieve a picture on what happen on my strada ouch ouch stepboard hit road gutter luckily it didnt hit the body according to my inlaws, i think im joining sir tancho for our stradas battle

    oh well... its just one of them days... yup. luckily it didn't hit the body panels. But do check the mounting brackets for any sign of twisted metal.

    This is a common scenario also along Session Road, Baguio City... i saw a few 4x2 low-rider pickups and vans getting their stepboards crunched on the 1 foot high sidewalk!

    thanks.... if i buy from him and it doesn't reach that, he'll owe me a full tank of gas. sayang din yun.

    Ive done the 14 Km/Lt on my Gls sport on highway driving but I don't exceed 2k RPM running at the speed of 80 to 90kph

    and for the 18km/Lt?

    I think nagawa ko na din yun...uhhhmm Last Night when I was asleep

    sir, sure na yung fulltank ng gas mo if the agent persist on making the bet...on 2nd thought baka naman sir nasabi nya lang dahil kasama sa freebies yung fulltank of gas?

    Pure city driving over the past more than 10 full tanks: 7.5 km / liter

    Provincial run last month, 4 passengers including driver: 11 km / liter

    i strongly agree! hehe since maybe kasama yung full tank na gas he's risking it. he wont lose anything naman. hehe. and that risk makes you buy the truck din.

    Hmmm.... 4x2 o 4x4, parehong talagang (hindi lang mejo) mababa, sir yang binanggit nyong trak. Uhmmm... maganda din sya. Pero kasi nandito ka sa strada thread, kaya ang pinkamaganda eh, ano pa, eh di, STRADA, hehehe . At yan walang halong bola, hehe.

    Sana nakatulong ako sa inyong pagmu-munimuni at makapag-desisyon kayo ng matiwasay. Salamat po ng marami.

    Oo nga pala sir, taga-saan po kayo?

    Here are my observations:
    * 80kph - 15 km/L
    * 100kph - 12 km/L
    And this is 3.2L. So baka makalusot pa yung SA sa 1 fulltank nya.

    BTW, for some good news. Regarding my engine's loss of power during acceleration, for the past two weeks di ko na na-experience. Kahit ihataw ko ng ihataw. Back to normal performance na truck ko. So I'm thinking baka madumi lang yung diesel na nakarga ko. I've done 2 full tanks since then. I just hope ok na talaga.

    magandang hapon po sa iyo... and welcome sa thread!

    parehas lang ng height ang glx and gls model ng strada... pero kung may budget ka sa gls, might as well get it na lang... hindi ka magsisisi...

    my mom's house is also in cainta... hanggang tuhod na baha? panis yan sa strada, kahit yung entry level na GL walang binatbat ang ganyang baha... hehehe

    ako, glx ang kinuha ko since ang budget ko dati pang honda civic lang dapat... pero nung makita ko ang glx na pasok sa budget ko, hindi na ako nagdalawang isip pa!

    suggestion ko? depende sa budget mo... ok na ang glx, really value for your money... but if you have the extra dough to burn, go for the gls... and lastly, if you decide to get a strada, JOIN ka na sa The Strada Club of the Philippines! sobrang saya dito! hehehe
