Depende sa budget at kung ano balak mo. Kung macho look and off road capabilities, go for mud tires, although expect additional noise and tagtag, and slight increase in fuel consumption. Kung sa pabilisian, go for HT, basta wag Bridgestone Dueler. Kung compromise, tulad ko na 80% hiway, 20% offroad, go for all terrains. In my experience, Pirelli Scorpion ATRs perform well sa hiway, better than my stock Bridgestone Dueler HTs. As quiet as the Bridgestone HTs. Treadwear is great, naka 15,000km na ako, parang di napupudpud. I got the 275/70R16 for P5,700 each, after trading in my 1yr old Bridgestone HTs. But I'm still drooling over the Cooper STTs or Mickey MTZs. . Sorry OT, sa mods pala dapat.

Sir...regarding the eb.....it is usually held every friday at Metrowalk....however, wala eb this 25 September, ang next eb eh sa metrowalk ay 2 October 2009 na.....

also, baka magkaroon ng eb (schedule not yet confirmed) somewhere near your area (either sucat or paseo de sta. rosa area) so para hindi ka masyado mapalayo sir, wait ka nalang po ng sked ng south eb.....

welcome to the strada threads sir myks... if you'll be using your strada on city roads 98% of the time, you wont have any practical use for the 4x4 features. then sulit na sulit ang glx.

Sir elwynvn, wala naman major problem ang bridgestone HTs. Actually different car makers install these on their vehicles like Toyota Fortuner/Hilux, Ford Everest ata. Tahimik sa hiway. The recommendation I made was for someone who wanted to upgrade tires. Kumbaga, "I will not buy this again" recommendation. Eto lang pansin ko sa Bridgestone HT: mabilis mapudpud, manipis ang sidewall. Parang nakakadagdag sa body sway. One definite improvement I noted when I replaced them was better grip/cornering.

As I see it, there will be no more EBs for the month of September as mentioned by sir moxxxs. Next EB will probably be the first friday of October.

As for the next EB of the South Luzon Chapter (tama ba ang name designation?), wala pa ring sked, so just keep on monitoring the threads or check this thread from time to time: TSCP EB Announcements .

At long last... I will be getting my 2010 glx tomorrow courtesy of Jessa. I got a black one (last minute change of color). Any advice on what I should check on the truck before i drive it out of the casa? Thanks guys!

im not too sure if this is possible with the casa, but do perform the PDI (pre delivery inspection with Ma'am Jessa or the PDI inspector). they SHOULD have a checklist and should be able to perform ALL functions of the car with a corresponding check mark to proceed to the next... and ask WHY if any item should be listed as "N/A" or not applicable.

also, ask them for assistance to have the clutch adjusted too if you need it... hehehe...

oh! since you will be getting a black truck, there is no need for painting the door sash black unless you might want a textured look...

good luck sir... your time for a new set of wheels has come...

Thanks Ian, actually sa friday ko pa makukuha ang 2008 oem gls mags and tires ni sir bobcas. I will bring my unit at miguiboys for fender flares and spare tire lock. How much will it cost me if i change my tires to 265 (considering that i'll trade my glx oem tires and mags and the 245 tires installed from bobcas mags)? Tipid muna at hinay hinay lang ako sa mods and just enjoy my MISTRESS as it is muna.

Wow, another car sold by Jessa. Black is nice, just ask TP. Just like what Ian mentioned above, just check out everything about the car.
Here are the complaints from a few people:
1. uneven height
2. steering if there are any noise when you turn both sides.
3. check clutch to see if its to your liking
4. transmission goes in well in 1st and 2nd gears, or better yet, check all gears.
5. fit and finish of interior and exterior (if OC ka lang sir)
6. all manuals
7. and just enjoy the STRADA!
