Hello sir RTS, I have my doubts on that advertisement saying that the improved version is waterproof. Probably at the onset waterproof sya, but eventually, say a year, water will start to trickle in. It's design of multiple hinges make it vulnerable to water leakage. Just my opinion. But don't get me wrong. Maganda sya at maporma. Di nga lang praktikal. Oh, again, that's just me.

Thanks again your input re- roller up cover, I guess I have live with it for a while, but anyway I find way to rectified the dripping nilagyan ko na lang ng ka size na plastic sheet fastened at both end, I'll just wait for a heavy down pour to see the effect.

    Thanks again-RTS

as of know, i may not know who might be selling their GLS mags. But lets wait for the response of Sir Nismo26 and our other club members from Mindanao, they might be able to give you a hint on where to go... and perhaps for you to join us at TSCP! hehehe...

    hi chief,

wow, nice freebies! just had a test drive kanina and so far, the bagito agent that was assigned to me has just offered me the following:

    1) standard tint/matting/ewd...and....(drumroll)
    2) ...a visor.

    that's IT. whoopdeefrickin'doo.

am buying (probably a 2.5 GLX, shipment will arrive by august daw) within the next two weeks, but am still unsatisfied with the agent, parang he's holding back discounts and freebies (or, maybe he doesn't know what he can offer).

trying to get more (like maybe throwing in the insurance premium, lto, and tpl for free and such), but it feels like i'm trying to squeeze blood from a stone.

really REALLY interested in that backup sensor freebie. care to share your agent/dealer? (kahit pm na lang if it's not allowed in public, just posted this just in case anybody else can recommend a more generous agent/dealer that knows his/her stuff).

    cheers,

    hans

P.S. during the test drive, i asked re: fuel consumption for the glx, and he claimed that it was 18km/ for long drives, and 14km/L city driving. don't really have a benchmark, but to me, it sounds too good to be true. can any GLX owner kindly corroborate?

thanks.... if i buy from him and it doesn't reach that, he'll owe me a full tank of gas. sayang din yun.

You may backread or search the forum for 4x4 CE AT owners. I owned a 2009 Titanium Blue 2.5 GLX variant..Unit was released 10th of June and I guessed it barely reached 300km on the odometer til now..the car is a back-up during color coding and heavy downpour days..Mods so far as follows:
    1) body colored side moldings (casa match-sprayed to body tone)
    2) black flare fenders
    3) Carry boy aluminum roller lid
    4) back up sensors (casa freebie)
    5) 3M tints (casa freebie)
    6) cloth seat covers+floor carpets (casa freebie)
    7) umbrella (casa freebie but stock this coming september pa daw)

    Future mods:
    1) 245 (" or cm??) wide thick tires with matching mags
    2) spare tire key and chains
    3) leather cover steering wheel and shift knob
    4) extra grip handle
    5) overhead sunglass holder & map lights (I'll ask casa regarding warranty issue for this)

I'm sure you'll love the car just the rest of satisfied owners in this thread..Have a safe and defensive driving..

copy mga sir, thanks for the info! i kinda knew it sounded too good to be true.

anyway, in case i don't get a better agent, methinks that will have our little wager put in black and white.....makabawi man lang sa diesel.
