hope i clarified things a bit...
thanks Arvin Cristi, i'll keep that in mind bro.

hi guys. the oil itself was 4K+. yup, fully synth. casa oil na, the xpturbo. para consistent.

manageable naman yung maintenance cost. psychological lang.

wala sa checklist. the lid was ok when i checked it in. iba lang talaga dating ng mitsu service. i had a lancer before and had it serviced in both wheels and diamond quezon ave. medyo di talaga pulido. you leave that place with a grimy feeling. what saves the day is really my very low expectations with the service having had the lancer experience prior to the strada.

    ganun ako ka-sold sa strada

now that i have the lid, feeling ko parang naiwan yung tire size. but my friends think the proportion is still ok. siguro upsize ko na lang yung tires mismo when the time comes.

by the way, i had nitrogen loaded on my tires. i had this impression that this gas doesn't fluctuate. i was surprised that it does. i guess what you're paying for here is the managed rate of dissipation which is more or less slow and even across the 4 tires. naka nitro yung gulong ng isa kong car pero wala naman yun tire pressure monitor.

lots to learn pa with regard pick-up life. haven't even finished reading the manual!!!

will really try to join a regular eb next year. the yearend just sucks where i work. puro rush mga leche

Sir Skippy, as far as I know, the turboXP is a semi-synthetic oil and not fully synthetic.

Sir sadek, congratulations sa bagong ride mo. You will never go wrong with a strada.

With regards to your desire to have a Strada group in Mindanao, we have 2 tsikoteers who are strada owners and members of The Strada Club of the Philippines who are from Mindanao. They are: nismo28 (Cotabato City) and wulf_geo (Cagayan de Oro City). You may want to get in touch with them and come up with something, like spearheading the TSCP, Mindanao Chapter.

What's to look out for when getting your GLS Sport? Please guide me. Remote control, uneven stance, etc-etc.

Can I drive the truck and feel the anomalies? And if I'm not happy, pwede di ako mag-sign ng delivery receipt di ba?

    Just covering my bases.

    Thanks.

    *Idoy,

What i can suggest for you is to Conduct a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) with the Sales Associate (SA) or the PDI personnel. there is a check list that they go through as each item is checked. Perhaps you can tell them all the concerns that you have in mind. Also, maybe u can ask the SA or the PDI to ride with you (or them driving it kasi hindi pa na turn over sa iyo) and immediately note any unusual rattles and catch their attention immediately.

All these may be done before you sign the documents... Bear in mind also that some dealers have their own protocol... I hope this helps.

in the meantime, wait for the reply of the other BOSBs.

    thanks

Thanks. What do you mean by BOSBS? Sorry, newbie here. Awhile ago, I saw a blue GLX, the driver side is leaning a bit. It's pretty obvious. I don't know if he's aware of it or not. He has no cargo at all or canopy at the back.

I'm worried with the unit I'll get.

its near the left portion under your dash (drivers side), grab a flashlight and definitely you will see it.

sir, from the look of things, just do a total visual check of the car. as you mentioned, uneven height, try jumping at the back and see if it squeeks. check the tpms if all is working, if manual transmission, check if it goes in gears well. from the look of things, only the uneven height and suspension squeek are common flaws.

BOSBS - Band of Strada Brothers and Sisters, the collective term for strada club members

The uneven stance can be corrected without any cost to you... some of the owners are not aware or just plain lazy to go to the casa for the necessary correction of the suspension parts. This is not a safety issue, some of the earlier batches from thailand were not adjusted for the left hand drive stradas to be exported here in the philippines

^^^ ooops, i forgot... using the term "BOSBS" is common knowledge for me... thanks, thepatriarch.

*Idoy, i agree with the response of thepatriarch.

    ============================

*man_0425, the switch has been seen by most Strada owners. you can also ask for assistance from the sales/service associate from the dealer that assisted you in getting your unit.

May we know the model of your Strada po?
