New Mitsubishi Strada [ARCHIVED]

Hi guys, just sharing my baby. Its a Strada GLX and got it last June. Have no problems with it so far and just had my 1,000 km checkup last Saturday at Citimotors, Makati. I would love to post pictures here kaya lang I don't know how. Would appreciate it if somebody can teach me. Thanks and more power.

Have they corrected all the defects, have'nt they? I'm asking because we're planning to get one of these beautiful trucks. Please give us feedbacks if the 2009 release just like yours is the improved model. I've been lurking this thread and just finished reading it today and I've learned that there a lot of defects like steering column, squeaking sound on the leaf spring, uneven height, and etc.

We will use the truck for long distance travels, as far as bicol and Isabela once a week. So we need a tough vehicle. I chose the strada for being maporma puede syang pang display sa mga kliyente kahit pick-up sya. For me it's currently the most beautiful truck in the world, IMO. Very futuristic ang design nya.

I really really love the design but the trouble is there are a lot of complaints and someone here even sought for legal action. Nung una kala ko isolated lang pero on the last few pages of this thread dumami.

Btw, i will keep on watching this thread.

sir, although there have been post on problems with the strada, you still have to look at the whole picture. Out of all the Strada that was released, how many had those problems. I am not saying that you should just disregard the flaws, but something to consider when buying any car is, not all are perfect when they come out of the plant. Just pray that you will get one of the best produced. anyhow, most owner's are still happy with their truck, and I am one even if i had problems with my car before.

nakakatuwa naman at masaya po kayo sa inyong strada ma'am. pero mas maganda diyan, sali na kayo sa club para mas gumanda pa yung truck niyo. kasi lalagyan na natin ng TSCP decal hehehe

Hi guys just got back from the mountains for 4 days, welcome po salahat nag bagong owner's at sa mga nag iisip kuha na iba talaga ang truck natin hindi lang pag porma par off road pa.

Excited po ako sa unit ko ill be having it tomorrow GLX ang nakuha ko . ive been reading this thread just recently even thou ive read of some minor defect about the car i still push through with my decisions in buying one medyo mahal nga lang dito sa province kasi may freight and handling that would cost me 21K pero ok lang ganon din naman kon diyan ko konin sa maynila hazzle pa sa travel.
ive got the gypsum gray mica color na GLX bihira ko kasi makita sa GLX ganon kulay.need input lang po sa unit ko regarding accesories na di naman ganon kamahal sa mabibili sa casa tnx po.

hey mga boss, finally i got my glx black strada from mitsubishi ortigas ! its really nice.. been reading this thread for quite a while, just hope this unit will be a good one for the years to come. will start doing my mods next week, first ill have the rollbars and roller slides from carryboy, and if may budget na "the wheels"! hehe, kso ang mahal ata nung mga nakikita ko...

will like to seek advice on the breakin process, what are the best ways to do a breakin for this type of vehicle?

Just read your manual and follow the prescribe break-in. But basing on experience, just drive it gradually (acceleration and brake). Try not to go over 100KMH, but your ride can handle it with ease. If you got the time, do join us in one of the mini-eb in the future. drive inspired sir.

We finally got our 2009 glx strada i so love this truck! I think may nabago sa kanya, ung signal lights clear na and 16" na yung mags, also the head unit parang iba rin...

Congrats sa mga new Strada owners! Dami pa rin bumibili ng Strada ah... Bakit ayaw nyo ng Nissan's new SportUtilityTruck... In fairness, I had a chance to test the Navara. Ride is comfortable, less ang sway (dahil mas mababa yung 4x2 nila). Engine's power... hmmm... kaya siguro ng Strada's 2.5L.

sir strada_08, seatmate is located near mandaluyong city hall... dun sa may statue of liberty version nila... i got mine around 6k, it includes the steering wheel cover plus the leather seat covers na...

I was caught surprised about the 2009 model. its been 2 weeks since i visited the mitsubishi dealer here and ask for updates. looking at the turn signal light, i must say it just needs a little getting used to on my part.

As fasr as releasing 2009 models, this is usually the time in the USA would start to introduce 2009 models and start to clear out the current year inventory. But since this is the Philippines, we are not to keen about that. I will be checking on the other variants.

*romdm - congrats sa Strada GL mo. may i ask if the keyless entry and alarm is factory installed or dealer freebie? also, please check your turn signal and see if it orange/amber or clear? thanks sir.
