good day po sa lahat ng BOSB's. first post ko pa po to. finally natapos ko na rin basahin 293 pages! after reading all threads from ford, hi-lux, d-max, and navara, i have decided to go for the strada. hopefully a GLX model pero by 4th quarter this year pa. excited na nga wife ko eh. Sa ngayon research/view-mode pa muna ako. ok lng po ba makisali sa discussions ninyo dito? thanks.....

putting oil to eliminate the sound is a temporary solution. once the oil dries up the sound comes back again. it has to do something with the leaf pack itself, there should be a solution since other cars with leaf spring suspension does not have this noise problem.

sir arb: you're right, there must be a solution. ill bring the car back to casa nalang, sayang naman ang warranty kung di gamitin hehe! tnx for the reply.

Hello again, sir fms. I have a suggestion to make. Why don't you band and organize yourself together with other strada owners in your place, or even other mitsubishi owners. This way you can share your problems with your ride, exchange views, and act collectively against the lousy after-sales performance by your local dealer.

You have to complain to them and if they don't heed to your verbal complaint, then do it in writing. Kalampagin mo sila. This way, they may realize their shortcomings. More so if you are acting as a group.

I symphatize with you with your predicament that you feel sorry for the after sales attitude of your local casa and not necessarily with the product that you bought from them. Your problem has a remedy and the local casa has the opportunity to turn you into a satisfied customer.

If by chance you are in Manila, I invite you to join us in one of our mini-EB of our club. I'm sure that you will learn a lot of things from that meet up.

sir ooba99: magandang idea nga yun. but i think hindi ko kaya mag-organize coz i dont have much time, kaya nga minsan medyo matagal ako magreply. na-iinggit lang ako sa mga lakad nyo hehe! i used to go out kasi when im free, just to unwind.

regarding sa after-sales. hindi ko kasi sila masyadong pini-pressure kasi hindi ko alam baka anong gawin nila sa car, lalo na ko walang alam about sa car. but ive decided to go back to casa nalang and have it serviced, sayang naman ang warranty hehe!

Sir fms = Tama ka dun.. the buyer must be satisfied.. hindi naman cguro gagawing ng mitsubishi yun or the dealer na palitan yung odometer.. pero hindi din natin alam. Sir Im the one who wright on this thread na my ride is uneven high.. medyo mababa yung left side.. Naayos naman nila medyo matagal nga lang mga 1 month ako nagantay ng parts from thailand pa daw... pinalitan nila ng 2coil spring and 2 leaf spring, ngayon ok na sya. under warranty naman sya eh. sir try mong papalitan yung leaf spring mo pwede naman yan nasa diskarte lang yan..

yes sir alainroyce, hindi naman kasi madaling hanapin ang 1M hehe! na experience mo din pala ma bad trip, buti nalang na solve na. i have to check my unit din baka hindi pantay. sir pwede nyo ba akong bigyan pa ng mga possible problems ng strada? para ma check ko nalang lahat and para sabay ko nalang ireklamo sa casa. tnx in advance!

Regarding bout the squeaking sound on our leaf spring... WD40 ata ang katapat... I've experienced this and got disappointed, as usual!
Just a simple spray and it's all gone...

To regain smoothness of your ride.. i think and you should
adjust your tire pressure to 35psi as what other BOSB members
adviced me and it really works...

Sir fms & Sir nismo26 - I will try to contact the chief engineer of MMPC regarding your problem squicking sound on the leaf spring.. what if this problem is pabalik balik lang?.. what will they do to this problem? sya kasi yung kausap ko kaya napalitan yung 2 coil spring and 2 leaf spring ko.. pero i never saw him personally kaya nga may utang pa ako sa kanya.. hopefully this week or next week puntahan ko sya sa planta to give some gift para may kapit na tayo.. hehehehe

FMS: if you are going to sell your strada, why purchase projectors to have HID. Sayang lang. I really suggest you write a formal complaint on your experience with your unit as well as the experience you received from your dealer. Writing to MMPC, would help you out and MMPC will coordinate with your dealer. Yan din ang problem with dealers, to lessen their work/coordination with MMPC, they will give all these excuses.

One great thing about clubs/forums is you can learn from everyone.

On the silencer, i dont think any of the bosbs had it yet, but they mentioned needing this on their last PMS, they are just waiting for the parts to arrive and will be installed in their trucks all for free.

im pretty sure the apprearance now will be like that of MS ayiesha - she had a red GLX with a G500 canopy (can be seen at the tagaytay fun run pictures and videos) with stock mags shodded with 275/70R16 tires- its not scorpion a/t though but OEM bridgestone dueller- something like doc ooba99 and doc boz.

pls post your pics bro- the more the BOSBs should invite you to the pinatubo fun run! hahaha!

question po mga bosbs/strada owners ... curious lang especially for those who had their stradas for quite some time now... have any of you had a flat tire? was it easy to replace the tire?

sa pinagkaramiraming pwede pagusapan flat tire pa ang napili!!! hehehehee

yeah, already changed flats around a dozen times since i got my ride(around 1.5 yrs ago) as for me madali lang naman magpalit ng gulong, hehehehehe sanay na kasi!! ang ayaw ko lang is the fact na malambot kasi ang thread compound ng mga H/T's kaya kahit sa mga crushed rock an madalas ko daanan na flaflat na. but if you're doing city driving oks ang mga H/T.

advice nga lang pala, always have a pair of gloves and a small canvass or rubber mat in the vehicle all the time. Gloves para hindi madumihan ang mga kamay pag nagpalit ng gulong, matting para luhuran o higaan pag nagtatanggal na ng reserba at isang katerbang locks na nakakabit! hehehehe

ian, i think her tires was 265/70/16. i think 275 on 16"x6" rims is too wide, 265/70/16 is tolerable, but dapat 245/70/16 lang to be on the safe side.

[SIZE=3]Whew! Finally finished catching up with the March-April posts. Lugi na naman kompanya sa akin, ang dami kasi posts, hehe... Was in Baguio this weekend and am very satisfied with how the strada handled the mountains. Saw plenty of stradas on the road. Also spotted a red one at burnham and john hay with a motorbike slung on its back. Astig ang setup, specially with the black trimmings done. Hindi ko lang nakuhanan ng picture. Anybody here in TSCP fitting this description?[/SIZE]

Before, around 2T rpm notice mo pag-kickin ng turbo, now hindi ko na napapansin. I’ll be having my 20T km maint, and will have this checked. Any additional advice BOSBs and Sisters? TIA![/SIZE]
