here's the latest update on the 2010 units. they are already at the cainta plant, nad i am very sad to inform the provincial based buyers that you're wait will be prolonged a bit, because as to what i have been hearing the available units have already been ear marked for disposal within the greater metro manila area.

as for the srp, i think the price increase was +50K to 100K

Arvin, i don't think the price increase will be that big... if you are going to look at the vehicle pricelist at Mitsubishi Philippines website, they already have a price for the 2010 Strada Model. The GLX to be specific, had a 7k increase from 918k to 925k. I guess the increase is justifiable considering that the only changes they have done are more on aesthetics.

Anyone can correct me if I am wrong here guys. Thanks.

Anyway, texted my SA yesterday and sabi nila best efforts daw next week. Saka sabi nila there was indeed a delivery ng mga gls. pero sabi ko i saw a gl dun sa pics ni sir lr. hmmm... ano nga kaya totoo?

..during my meeting with the mitsu vp-sale, he showed me the pics of the 2010my strada from his laptop and asked him to send it to me, and he did.. the thing is i dont know how to post it! dang me!

..huhuhuh.. i was really disappointed when i saw the grill! i dont like it.. but i'll give the new strada a benifit of the doubt, hehe, i have to see it right before my two eyebugs on thursday! then i will decide if i will go for it..

thanks sir out-101! actually di ko rin gusto yun bago niyang grill. mukhang mas maangas yun nauna. but i do like the improvements in the mags, fog lights and the audio remote.

Same here, I like the old grill design. However the thing is, I think you can replace the whole grill (including the center logo) with a honeycomb mesh which is better. I just hope they will have that accessory here and that we dont need to buy it pa from thailand.

Nagulo kasi ang usapan nung pinasok yang tungkol sa Long Bed version na di pa ilalabas dito for now..

Kung nakita nyo yung pics dito na panay 2010 Strada na car carrier eh panay short bed lang ang nandun..Ok lang yan kasi mas mura at mas practical yan.

sir nanofossil, sorry for the late reply. i guess you saw the pics already. for the audio remote, it was what my SA told me. it's a good functional improvement if true. about the mags naman, it's good kasi the tires presumably will be a little wider - which is my only issue with the glx...

Hireap naman kasi na paglabas ng casa eh may kapalit na agad. Especially if there is not much difference in the price. Di ko lang talaga trip yun grill. Kanya-kanyang panlasa lang naman yan eh. But I believe the upgrade is generally for the better...

oh i see.. same here, i dont like the grill, i did not expected that, i thought that grill for the gls sport is the honeycumb, nevertheless, i have to see the truck first before judging.. the added or improved features are all good though..

I will be arriving Cebu on wednesday around 9am, will be checking in Midtown Hotel first and go straight to Naga. I will be busy the whole day. I leave the next day, friday for Manila. My flight is 5pm. So I guess I can still attend the BPI Madness at Ayala Center from 1pm to 3pm. I can text you when I'm already there so that we can meet. Thanks.
