ganyan din case namin nung kinuha namin black 3.2 a/t. sabi nung unang dealership wala daw stock sa planta and january pa ang bagong shipment pero lumipat ako ng ibang dealership at nakapag pullout agad sila ng unit sa planta the following day. so i guess marketing strategy lang yun para sa kanila ka kumuha. ang ipupush nila is yung stock na meron sila.
hmmm...
i really doubt it if they will change it po. Knowing Mitsubishi, some designs will stay for the rest of the Gen 4's lifecycle and i hope u will bear with it. UNLESS they will change their mind. But for me, i can live with it on a permanent basis. I would rather have this than the Old School umbrella parking brake of Ford's and Mazda's - thats for sure!at least the button to press for shifting is at the correct location and NOT an RHD na talagang obvious na binaliktad for LHD... hehehe
Take the Pajero FieldMaster for example. the A/T shifter was at the right and the 4x4 Super Select shifter is at the left and i don't hear any major complaints about it. Taking note of it, the A/T shifter is handled by the driver when it is needed like shifting to Drive from P, R or N and extreme cases of shifting from 2 or L.
Also, I havent heard of any complaints about this from other fellow BOSBs who are using A/T models (Boy25, Ooba99, jeffthermosa, okidokjim, etc...)
btw- have u inquired about the custom edition?
You're right in all accounts. I just wish they "correct" it, just a "wishful" thinking. Other than that, it's the perfect truck for my lifestyle. Work and light off-roading once a month, if my time permits.
What's a custom edition? I never saw it in their brochure.
oo nga ian..please enlighten us on this "custom edition". first time to hear this. what's the difference?
sir idoy: i hope you'll get the strada you want and color. ikaw naman ang buyer, so haggle on freebies and push them to deliver the unit. it will be a merry xmas for you sir.
I think ploy lang yan ng mga sales agents para mabenta yung mga unmoved inventory nila. Siempre sa business in order to save costs for maintaining an unmoved inventory, first in first out ang ipinaiiral nila. Just look for another agent who can fulfill what you want, The customer is the king ika nga. Why spent huge amount of money sa di mo gusto? Remember Sir, Good things come to those who waits. In other words Patience is a virtue.![]()
Thank you, sir Alainroyce. Nasa beginners level pa lang ako. I still have a lot of things to learn sa off-roading. I hope to see you and your wife again in Baguio soon.
Doc Ooba99, mukha nga na mas enjoy ni moustache hehe. Here is a pic of moustache sporting a white beard:
Thank you, sir Mdksael. I am really proud of being one of the members of TSCP. Dumadami na members!

I agree with you bro gimick lang yan when i got my truck i look for a dealer who wants my cash and who can give me the truck i want and more.
Bro GO1 malapit na yan sa rear diff breather baka pasukin ang rear diff mo nag water kailagan palitan nag mahabang hose para iwas sa tubig, it is located sa top nag rear diff na me hose papunta sa cross member nag chasis.replace the hose for a longer one and find a place to move the other end of the hose para safe sa river crossing.
Tama ka bro Dadz. Na-check ko na rin location ng opening ng breather hose ng rear differential noon and found out na it is connected doon sa cross member ng chassis and is around 4" from the top of the rear tires. Kaya I always make sure na my tires won't be completely submerged when I do the water crossing para maiwasan ang pagpasok ng tubig sa differential.
thats is good one rule of offroading to know most thigs about your truck just change the hose make it longer and find a nice place for it kasi looking at the picture yung wave nag water is near the breather na or maybe a few splash already went in ako nilagay ko sa back nag bed way above para mas safe. dont use your tire just to measure kasi iba na ang sukat pag nag move ang truck same with the water na iba ang sukat plus the river bed is not flat so in every case being ready is much better.
GO1,
I'm getting tortured looking at your photos. That's how a pickup should be driven. Up to now, my SA can't promise a black GLS Sport.
This is my Christmas wish! Hahaha....
