gandang hapon mga ka tsikoteers,need your experties and advice,im planning to buy a STRADA GLX, the problem is yun maintenance PMS,hinde ko ata kaya pag casa sya,mawawala nga warranty pero makakabayad naman ako sa monthly amortization nya,ehh pag casa baka kulangin,nababasa ko kasi sa mga thread na mahal yun PMS pag casa,10k+ eh at minsan abot pa ng 25k, grabe mahal pala pag crdi,advice naman po dyan...anu ba yun delikado pag hinde sa casa yun service at may alam ba kayo shop na expert naman sa strada diesel crdi?

isuzu dmax. tibay talaga, got hit by a ten wheeler on the right side. can not beliv only the rite passenger doordamage. saw a ford ranger yupi talaga. simply tibay dmax. strada is a tin can on a wheel. ford ranger not safe.

hmmm... baka hindi niya alam that was awarded 4 Stars... and a Moose to passed the test! hehehe... and i'm pretty sure that he doesn't know that at one time, DocGlen's red Strada ate something for breakfast!

these facts can simply be "googled" and "youtubed"... i hope that can clarify limahong's claim.

tanong ko lang po kung may nag bbuild up na moist sa inyong mga HL assembly, then biglang nawawala after an hour or two?

Pasingit mga sirs ha. Napansin ko ito sa Innova namin, turns out it was caused by a crack in the back part of the HL assembly. Yung moisture is actually condensed water vapor na nakapasok sa loob. Baka hindi na seal ng mabuti yung HL mo or may nakapasok na water vapor nung nilagyan mo ng HID, saka sya na seal ulit. Everytime lalamig magcocondense yun, pag mainit na mageevaporate kapag may opening sa assembly.

Anyway, to cut the story short this problem disappeared when I replaced the whole assembly

sir..saan mo naman nakuha ang mga information mo? pls visit strada pms thread on prices that owners posted. if you can't afford casa pricing, just have regular maintenance done at your suki talyer.just use the right filters and right oils.

before and after purchase of unit. sa sales, service and warranty claim? Tnx be there next week for the strada.. TIA

sir...its not the dealer..its the sales agent that can give you that experience...warranty claims can be done at any dealership. service..well, so far diamond is winning from the strada owners. just check receipt to make sure they didn't double charge on oil.

totally agree. once you open your HL assy. you have broken the seal..so anything can happen.

well they should watch the euro n cap tests sa you tube, the strada is the only one to get the 5 star, navara 1 star on their first batch sent to europe, so it was rejected, then they revised 3 or 4 stars, d max or rodeo in europe got 2 or 3 stars. this rating is base on what i watched in the youtube euro n-cap tests.

Went to baguio last wednesday and encountered rain at the SCTEX up to Rosario. I have an observation after driving through several puddles of water, it seems that the way my strada splashes the water - a substantial amount goes to my windshield and results in a scary obstruction of my view.

I used to do this with my dad's isuzu pick-up and it usually results in a nice sideways splash of water, not to the isuzu's windshield.

My strada has 275 yokohama tires. Is this because of the tires? Or is it because of the strada's design? Its really unnerving to have your front view blocked by water, and sometimes you might unintentionally run through a water puddle. Is there a fix for this occurence?

try changing your tires to AT or try driving slow on puddles of water...

try maintaining speed of 80kph....

I've also experienced this when its raining....thats why when I'm running 100kph engage ko na ang 2nd speed ng wiper....

and I also want to ask sir...

How does the 275's perform? wala po bang naging rubbing? and may napansin po ba kayung changes with the engines performance?
is that AT or MT?, most probably geolandar yung nakuha nyo tama po ba?

sir, i am thinking it might be with your wider rims. does your tires extend from your fender? whats your tires? AT or MT or HT? I haven't experienced this even if I travel over puddles of water at high speed.

Yup, slowed down na lang. Even the highest speed for the wiper wasnt enough, a lot could happen during the time the windshield is covered with water.

Yup, was at the EB with the Mazda Group but only for a short while...White strada, with black flares and yes, ralliart rims with Geolander HT. But there was a silver strada with ralliart rims that day too.

The tires or rims do not rub against any part of the body or chassis, due to the offset of the 8" wide rims. This also results in the wheel not centered to the mud flaps...and kulang din yun width nung stock mud flaps sa 275s. Dapat na nga siguro kumuha nung Ralliart Mud Flaps from Sir Dadz.

I do feel a slight difference when in motion, apparently due to heavier and wider rim/tires = more rubber contact and more effort for the engine. However, I am still happy with the way my truck ran. Was comfortable doing 120-140 at SCTEX, at 120kph the engine rpm was at 2400-2500.
