here are the traction control systems for the Mitsu cars you mentioned:

Mitsubishi Active Stability and Traction Control is a state-of-the-art safety system. It regulates braking force to each wheel during cornering to ensure excellent stability. The system also maintains optimum traction in all conditions, on and off-road. M-ASTC prevents tyre spin on slippery surfaces and minimises the risk of drift caused by over-accelerating in corners.

IMO, the Hybrid LSD may like the usual LSD found in other cars also. But it could be as capable as the Forutner's Torsen LSD:

    Ey people!

Sorry for being so inactive, but I have been busy with a few things, plus driving my new baby has been a 99% good experience.

I took a couple of trips through the rough roads (if you can call them that) of some of the interior roads of my home municipality, and I love the 4WD performance. Sarap dumaan over rough terrain, I think I'm addicted!

The only trouble/weirdness I have had so far is the Tire Pressure Monitoring System reporting strange errors now and then (3 times in the past 2 months), despite the fact that the tire pressure is fine in all wheels, including the reserve.

Still waiting for my two XXX shirts (Big man I am! ) and Strada Club sticker, sana dumating na!

Welcome back, sir Shizen. Driving my Strada has been a very good experience as well. Went offroading with my wife and my two kids again after lunch today. Was worried that the stock H/T tires will make it difficult traversing muddy trails but my Strada handled the muddy terrain very well. Then came a very steep portion of the trail wherein the stock H/T tires made it really difficult climbing up. After three tries my tires finally found traction and was able to complete the ascent.

Love the pics! Especially with the mags all covered with red mud. . At least with some driving tricks..the H/T stock tires can do it.

Highway Terrain tires can do mud indeed hehe.

I have to replace the stock tires to at least All Terrains to be able to drive over slippery steep inclines. My stock H/T tires just kept on spinning on all 4 wheels during an ascent on a slippery incline. Here is a video taken by my wife yesterday:

Thanks sir Tancho_kuhaku. You should indeed plan a mini-offroading kahit ikaw lang para maenjoy mo lalo yang Strada mo.

Had to shift to 4L as the incline was so steep. It doesn't show on the vid how steep the slope was but it was really steep. Going down that incline also had to use 4L 1st gear to keep the engine braking at maximum.

Yeah. It looks kinda steep and slippery because of the rocks. Not sure if deflating the tire could have made it more easier.

I hope your wife was not too close behind the truck while you were trying to climb. Can't imagine your truck slipping down out of control.

Deflating the tire may work like what is being done on sand as it does provide more contact patch to the ground so maybe it will work. Not sure though .

At one point my wife came dangerously close. She was at the side of the road though and the Strada has strong brakes.

OT: i had a response for tancho_kuhaku but i lost it due to slowness of tsikot- sabay nag page cannot be displayed... haiz...

but nonetheless, there is no need for any add on device or fluid additives as the CRDi system is advanced already as horsepower ratings has been raised throughout the years- a good example is the 4D56- from a low 72hp when it first came out in the L300 in 1990 (L200 in 1991) all the way to its recent CRDi add-on to 136hp in the 2006-present Strada.

*romdm- musta na po? Please free to update us regarding your Purchase of the Strada thanks...

*G01- This is indeed another great adventure for your family... lalo na kay Moustache... hehehehe

*av8or5- a fun(mud)run to Baguio? why not! The BOSBs are welcome... ... Planuhin natin yan! *G01- this is something we can work on!
