i'll do what i can to cook up something... i'll check the accomodation rates... i'm a bit sensitive to the off and on peak season rates...aside from the accomodation, food, gas and spending money for all the veggies you can get... will give updates soon sa club threads...

Highway Terrain tires can do mud indeed hehe.

I have to replace the stock tires to at least All Terrains to be able to drive over slippery steep inclines. My stock H/T tires just kept on spinning on all 4 wheels during an ascent on a slippery incline. Here is a video taken by my wife yesterday:

Hello to all strada owners

been reading this thread since last year pa and your forum really help a lot for me to decide which truck to buy. Now im driving my own strada 4x2 glx black, i got it last week from Motorplaza Baguio. Ala talaga ako masabi sa ride nya stable at komportable matapos kung ibreak-in last weekend mula baguio to isabela then pabalik.

My only negative comment on my unit is its shifting- "hard shifting". Mas lalo hirap magshift nung pinababaan ko sa casa yung clutch, meron sila ini-adjust sa loob under the steering wheel. then this morning hirap na talaga ako ikambyo pero i managed to run it at work but nung pauwi na ko this afternoon di ko na maikambyo yun pala nag-stuck up na yung clutch.
Hindi kaya may sira na agad nakuha kong unit?

I think ganyan din nangyari sa strada ni sir av8or5. pinalitan ng casa yung buong transmission niya and after that he's very satisfied na sa performance ng unit nya. Under warranty pa naman yang strada mo so make the most out of it. To add, na-meet mo na pala si sir ian, he can help you facilitate your transaction sa casa since halos lahat na yata ng tao dun kilala nya, hehehehe (hint: sa casa ang playground nya nung bata pa siya).

May plans ang strada club for a fun run papunta dyan sa baguio. hope to meet you there. Keep us informed sa development regarding your ride. drive inspired!

KCboy- the tire size you mentioned (185x75xR16) is way too thin po! much thinner than the Toyota Hiace Commuter/GL Grandia at 195/80R16 ([SIZE=1]company van namin dito- too bad mitsubishi doesnt have a decent modern RWD van [/SIZE])! to put that on the rims of the stock Strada GL or GLX 4x2 will make it look wider than the tires! parang dekada 70's style... hehehe
where did you see this size po? what brand? i wouldn't be surprized kung chinese brand sya... hehehe

sir thepatriarch, thanks for the advise so isa na rin pala sa naging issue ng 3rd gen strada yung transmission, ilang beses ko try i-search sa thread problema kaso di ko mahanap hirap naman iback read mo uli sa dami na ng post. yung strading mo kasi sir naging inspiration ko kaya black din kinuha ko, nagugwapuhan kasi ako sa mga naging modification sa unit mo. Balak ko nga gayahin eh hehehe...kaso wag mas maganda pag unique di ba hehehe..

Congratulations, sir Ramz, on your brand new black Strada. Regarding the hard shifting issue, I also experienced that when my unit was new. Brought it to the service center at Marcos Highway and they made some adjustments. Since then I have no more problems shifting.

Finally, I will be seeing soon a Strada in Baguio with the TSCP sticker at the back hehe. I've seen one black, one red and one blue Strada with AHJ plates but none of them is a club member.

i did give out some flyers with my name and contact number but im afraid no one responded yet, but i will still try to give out. Yes, AHJ is the Baguio/La Trinidad plate was being issued here- naubos na yun... Hong Kong na kami- AHK!

Hi sir, I read your negative comment on your ride. Let's differentiate your hard shifting...is it with the shift lever or when letting go of the clutch? My experience was when i have placed it in gear and even if i balance the clutch and gas, it still doesnt give smooth ride. iba kasi sa shifter itself. my transmission was changed because the last adjustments they made caused the transmission fluid to leak and i didnt have 5th gear.

im okay with my transmission, but i still feel that the shift knob is not as smooth as others..but i learned to live with it....however, i dont experience hard shifting. i hope i have written it down well...its like in an automatic car, it should shift without you feeling it go through the gears...but i've riden in my uncles benz i would say their benz has hard shifting vs our camry before.
