Sir DonT, ganda. With the cab, you can now put in a lot of stuff including tall cargos and it is secured.

Sir mike, I acquired my strada Sept 2007 and until now wala pa namang squeaking sound while driving, except when my 8 year old son plays, jumping up and down in the bed while it is parked in the garage.

Regarding usage, my strada is my main transport in going to work with no passenger in it. With the light usage, I am expecting to encounter that squeaking sound to come out spontaneously after a year from date of purchase. Hopefully, di na lalabas, hehehe.

Let's hear out from the other strada owners.

got mine in end of October, and so far, i've hear a slight squeeking. But after a car wash, it was gone. As in super light and only happened for a day. Until now, it hasnt returned. Sir, try to totally washing the underside and apply wd40 or some silicon type to try to fix it. If hindi tlga maayos, bring it back to them. I've driven another new strada that is less than a month, meron din squeeking sound. so your not alone. ask the dealer to fix it or better yet, write mmpc about all your mishap on your white GLX.

Got mine sometime Oct 07, no squeeking sound now. But I remember, when I went to pinatubo, the suspension of my truck was tested to its fullest. I was bouncing all over the place. It was then that I heard some squeeking sounds. But after I came back and got a good carwash (including under chassis), wala na ulit. My guess is that the sound is coming from mis alignment (friction) on the leaf springs.

Sir ken, if I'm not mistaken, si eslonblue pinaka-recent nagpakabit nyan. Hintayin mo reply nya or PM mo na lang sya.

That's not suprising to hear...Bring it back sa Casa for checking..para maka order ulit agad sila ng parts for replacement.

Mine had 16mm variance, they replaced it with parts amounting to 15K or 25K..can't remember..coz I did not pay...under warranty. Paid only 100 pesos for the carwash.

Note that aside from the bolt lock, sa sobrang pagkapraning, a wire lock (pang bisikleta) also secures the spare tire, for additional peace of mind, hehehe. Although alam naman natin for a persistent thief, kaya pa rin inenok itong tire ko. Pero mahirapan muna sya.
Thanks sir Ooba99...failed to see this post before. Anybody knows if this is available anywhere?

Got it from Carryboy for 1.8K. Medyo pricey but for the peace of mind that it gives me, sulit na rin.

from what i can recall, sir eslonblue has the GSR model- it looks like the GSM but the GSM has the advantage of the motorized lid like pauland and moxxxs.

by the time eslonblue will see the Carryboy GSM, he might drool over it. in that case, ang tanong ko sa carryboy: can a GSR lid receive the GSM retractable lid mechanism?

Yup...i've seen yung lid ni elsonblue and hindi nga sha mechanical. I'd like to know sana kung gano kalaki yung difference nung dalawa. Mejo hassle kase pag nagpapark sa mga establishments na kelangang icheck ung likod...ayaw ko na sanang bumaba para buksan sha...

I have inquired the price of the GSM last month at Carryboy. From my recall, the price is about 56K. Can't find right now the brochure where they wrote the price. Not sure of the price of the GSR.

From what I know, in both lids you will still have to go down and unlock the lid if ever inspection in parking lots is required. Both cannot be unlocked from the inside cabin. Wala syang remote lock/unlock. So it may be convenient to have a spare loose key to give to the security personnel to let him unlock the lid ang peek at the bed and return the key afterwards.

Sir ken, siguro it will be best that you call Carryboy Philippines to inquire.

    Here's their contact numbers:
    Tel:
    (632) 740-0525, (632) 740-0530</B>
    Fax:
    (632) 732-3109

    Or email them at: inquiry*carryboyphil.com

Or better yet visit their local website to know what strada accessories are available here: http://www.carryboyphil.com/

    BOSBs,

I'm planning to replace my stock GLX tires...I'm down to two choices: Michelin LTX AT and Pirelli Scorpion ATR. Do you guys have any suggestions which one is better than the other? I'll help me decide better on which tire I should buy.

Yung hinahanap ko lang naman is two things - Tire Life and Increase in riding comfort.

    Thanks in advance!

kenpogi, i'd suggest the michellin LTX, the pirellis wear too easily, something about the rubber compound that they use. But i'd suggest to still do some shopping around for tires. i thing Dunlop has come out with the grandtrek AT-III and yoko also has a new A/T tire
