hahaha, as a car enthusiast.. you must be connected to your car from front to rear. Any unusual sound must be given concern before it get worst...

Me mga tao kasi na sakay lang and they don't care as long the car can start and go.. hehehehe

When i met sir Wulf_Geo, he gave me the key to test drive his truck. I refused because i dont want to spoil my mindanao tour. hehehe

Anyways.. baka ayaw na nga ng pick-up nya sa kanya. Lets hope na lang na maayos na rin ang Strada nya and he can enjoy his ride like we do...

    sir,

dapat you drove it..so we can validate his concerns (an owners point of view) and also have a comparison if its normal or not.

but you know what..if your a type of person to keep looking for flaws in your ride..you have a tendency to attract those flaws and will never be satisfied with your vehicle. my 2 cents. (everything in this universe is energy)

Thanks sir av8or: ive driven so many pick up trucks since i learned how to drive, i guess the nature of our family lifestyle is the main factor why we always buy a truck for a ride. through the years, one can establish what is normal and annoying. I dont demand the best/excellent performance from my strada, just the normal one but like others say, ayaw nya sa akin.

But your feedback my fellow strada owners are the things that kept me standing strong despite this agonizing and frustrating experience. thank you all.

hehe, yeah, got those regrets nga that i didn't get the keys and drove it.How i wish i could compare his ride to mine. I've got a bad experience "kasi" on drivings someones vehicle . I'm just playing safe.

Bout the flaws.. im just referring to the unusual ride of our strada. Just like if i didn't notice the warning of a metal to metal feel when i apply brakes and didn't change my brake pads and brake disk then probably i ending up into an accident. If i didn't change my rear shock and tires, maybe im still worried driving fast and having a comfortable travel.

Pls dont get me wrong.. Driver like me use to fix every little problem than making it worst. Just like what sir wulf_geo said, he had driven many cars and so does i. Theres a lot of things to be familiar with my strada.

    let me share this... hehehe
pls dont get mad at me

The reason why i bought my strada is because of this forum, i was convinced when i compare the strada to hilux. I was ready to get a hilux but changed my mind because of many safety features of the strada.

If other pick-up owner boosted that they are the best but still their problems is much worser than us. As what my wife said to me, Pick-up nowadays got the looks but the problem is the suspension, handling and other safety features are neglected.

I'm a happy strada owner now and solved every problem now. I did a test drive of the performance of my strada throughout mindanao and faced different condition and i'm proud to say i didnt get tired driving it but did enjoy its comfort and aggressiveness on or off road..

iba tlga ang strada natin compared to older generation....i was just pointing out that even with its name "strada", iba ang handling and feel of current to old generation that sometimes we can't compare to other pickups as well...

i'm still a happy camper with my strada

+1 .....no pick-up is perfect..but helping each other is the best solution....we shouldnt be afraid to post any problems we noticed on our rides, from mere simple ones to extremes. at least potential owners will know what to expect from this vehicle...but madami rin strada owner's that are happy with their rides vs those who regret buying it.

You're right sir, to be impartial and not to offend anybody, we should not compare - we evaluate and assess. that's what i told MMPC and our local mitsu service center. Ones extensive driving experience and the variety of cars driven could come handy- it helps establish baseline/norm or standard. Of course the observation and feedback from other drivers also differntiate my tolerance/sensitivity. And if a majority have the same observation then that's the time i make a conclusion. I tried to be scientific and methodical in my approach so that mitsu and you guys wudnt think im getting unreasonable. hehehe

keep us posted on the development of your ride sir...

here is one observation sa ride ko..there are times that super quiet sya and lakas power..there are times naman that a little noisy and not as powerful....but then..i observed this on my old ride which was also crdi....could it be a characteristics of crdi? it really doesnt bother me much..but just noticed the differences... inputs na lang from all.

    the sound is noticebly different.

same observation specially when you stock on the traffic. after the traffic try to run on higher speed the turbo boost are late to activate, the engine is louder than normal sound.. i don't know or just halucination (o napapraning lang)..

+1!!! amen to it... mga sirs and madams...

basta best effort sa makakaya po natin to answer any queries about the strada (to the best of what we know).

about av8or5's comment on the CRDi noises, yup i noticed this from the Strada service vehicle (first batch 2.5 GLS A/T 2006) na iba ang kapag once engine is switched on and after running for some time- in motion or in idle. it has been this way for a year now and it didn't pose any sort of issue on the truck. it could be with the CRDi system.

    *tancho_kuhaku,

here are the traction control systems for the Mitsu cars you mentioned:

Pajero 3.2 D-iD and 3.8 V6 (2007-present BK and 2003-2006 CK series) M-ASTC Mitsubishi Active Stability Traction Control System
Mitsubishi Active Stability and Traction Control is a state-of-the-art safety system. It regulates braking force to each wheel during cornering to ensure excellent stability. The system also maintains optimum traction in all conditions, on and off-road. M-ASTC prevents tyre spin on slippery surfaces and minimises the risk of drift caused by over-accelerating in corners.

All New Montero Sport 3.2 GLS SE and 2007 - present Strada 3.2 GLS Sport M/T and A/T - Hybrid Limited Slip Differential (LSD)
click here to know more about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limited_Slip_Differential
IMO, the Hybrid LSD may like the usual LSD found in other cars also. But it could be as capable as the Forutner's Torsen LSD:

Good Afternoon to all strada lovers, ask ko lang how many days ba ma ship ang cars from thailand to philippines, sabi ng SA it takes 4 to 5 days? is it true? Im still waiting for my unit and he told me na wala daw nasakay na strada kasi inu na daw nila ang montero, here in cebu alone they have 21 orders di pa kasama ang dealers sa kalapit na dealers like negros, ilo ilo and some parts sa visayas. Montero daw is selling like hotcakes....kaya ang tagal ng strada ko dumating, im starting to love my L300 van na non aircon, hindi power steering, hirap magparking!...been waiting for almost 2 weeks and I guess 2 weeks more.
