Questions with your Strada rides specifically the 3.2 gls sports matic... might change my reservations with the montero sport but need more information. Thanks in advance.

    1. Top speed and 0-100km/h in how many seconds?
    2. Is it faster than the fortuner 3.0 or hilux 3.0? Testimonies please..
    3. Is it possible to have a subwoofer box at the backseat?
    4. What's the 2009 model have than the previous models?

Been back reading but missed the above i guess..
hi sir sa 2008 and 2009 strada as i know lang po yung difference is yung headlights, the 08 model has yellow on the signal lights the 09 model clear white lahat.

sa subwoofer yup i know some of the members installed it on their rides PM them nlng or lets wait for them to share their set-ups. sa nos 1 and 2 mo di na ako makakasagot hehe lets wait for other masters to answer this po.

You may want to check this out...

Pero 5speed manual ang Triton tested.
I also read in another forum, where the Strada 3.2 matic vs Starex 2.5 CRDi VGT resulted in identical 14 secs. 0-100. Same w/ above review. Sa caradvice.com.au naman its 10 sec. Paging auroraoffroader?
But if you read other magazines like C! they have their own figures. Kaya difficult to compare.
Re: subwoofer at the backseat, I tried to ask before kung kaya pero experts at Kid Audio and Mickeys Autosound couldnt come up with a design... Kaya ayun, under the seat sa kin. Unless nagawan ng paraan ni sir Bobcas...

Tanong ko lang sa may TPMS, paano mag-rotate ng tires? Kailangan ba sa casa or Winterpine? Wala kasi ako manual ng TPMS. TIA

sir same queries was posted sa isang cebuano forum(im from cebu kasi) sa mas mabilis and mas responsive daw yung fort kaysa MS, well, i dont know kasi dont own any of them but what i concluded that di pa lumamabas true power and potential ng MS kasi maybe d pa na PMS unlike the fort that has been in the industry for a long time na. or unless na 1k or %K PMS na yung MS then wala na akong masabi, when i posted this on the cebuano forum the forumers agreed and were still waiting kapag ma PMS na nya to compare talaga

If you love speed, you can go as fast as 200kph, no joke on a 3.2 strada (if you got the nerve)

Anyway, i've asked this before and their good answer was, our pickups are not for racing its for hauling and its not a car, its a TRUCK... hehehehe

Can anyone confirm kung yung goma ng GLX is 205"R"/60/R16. Wala kasi nakasulat sa brochure.

Iam planning to have my tire replace and sabi nila okay daw mag 235/60 R16 or 265/40R18 because May "R" naman daw.?

    TIA!

Sir Ranch * The 2008 GLX has a 205/80/R16.. I don't know for 2009 model if they change the spec of the tire.. you can change this up to 245/70/R16 without changing your mags.. one the member here puts 265 to his GLX R16 mags i forgot his tsikot handled name... 265/50/18 is good but 265/40/18 baka masyado na matagtag.. but still its you decision what ever you like to put on your truck...

Bro Dadz marami pang areas na gusto kong subukan with my truck hehe. Ang daling dumumi yung truck ko because of the protruding A/T tires. So my next project is to make the fender flares wider using fiberglass. Will start with this project when I get back home from China end of this month.

    Repost ko lang:

BOSBs and newbies who want to join the club, the November Baguio Fun Run/4x4 basic intro is scheduled on November 28 (depart Manila 10-11 pm) up to December 1, 2008 (depart Baguio after lunch). This is a long weekend and you can bring your family (or special someone, sarap may kayakap dun, hehe) with you for a much needed rest and relaxation... with a little sight seeing and light off-roading session to be conducted by our resident 4x4 gurus.

Ive been reading this thread (and others on the web regarding Strada). After comments from this forum and doing test drive, i've finally decided on reserving a unit (2.5 glx) My SA informed me that end of month at the latest ko makuha yung Truck/Car (or Car/Truck). I opted for black. I guess 2009 model na din yung ibibgay sakin (yung kay sir romdm is already 2009)

    Question lang gurus.

    1) with the issue of uneven height, kayang ba syang ma-check by unaided eye inspection alone?
    2) what are other things i should check with the delivery of the truck?
    3) finally, i'd like to join the Club once i have my truck (to get tips and tricks).

    btw, manila based ako.

welcome to the thread sir and hope you do get your black glx soon.
    1. just do a visual check...from the back and front. just make sure even yung floor. you can also ask your SA to have the unit check before releasing it to you.
    2. if you can drive it..maybe check your transmission to make sure wala problem (but this is not really an issue.isolated case lang) and also the manual shift know to see if it doesnt stick.

sir romdm is happy so far..diba sir. heheheh
