*ericsiomai- i may i know the name of your dealer again? IMO/from what i recall, arvin cristi might know of someone who is a problem solver and he is assigned to wherever the issue is- within Diamond Motors service centers. you can PM him for details... i hope that helps... and feel free to backread on that... BOSBs- if you already dealt with him- pls PM ericsiomai the name and contact details. thanks

*JJCE- Sorry for missing out on that.

among strada club members, i believe no one yet has made his Strada sprint from 0 to 100kph just like how it was seen at the car magazines. Click on the link to see the Strada test drive in a leading aussie car magazine:
    http://www.drive.com.au/Editorial/Ar...mparisonID=978
as i quote from the site:
"The Triton's power and torque figures (118kW and 347Nm) were the envy of rivals not so long ago, now they're average. The Triton is no slouch though. In our laden 0 to 100kmh acceleration test, the Triton posted a time of 14 seconds, making it comfortably the briskest of the four-door diesel 4WDs."
note: 5 speed M/T was used in this test.

the 4M41 hp and torque ratings of the Strada are different from that of the Pajero which is higher by a small percentage to provide more torque for the Pajero's heavier body.

Specifications from the Mitsubishi Strada brochure:
    3.2 GLS Sport M/T and A/T
Engine Model and Type: 3.2 Di-D, 4 cylinder, DOHC 16 Valve CRDi, Turbo-Intercooler.
    Compression Ratio: 17 : 1
    Bore x Stroke: 98.5 x 105
    Max. Output/rpm: 160/3800
    Max. Torque/rpm: 343.35/2000

on a personal level, i enjoyed driving eslonblue's 3.2 GLS Sport A/T on a drive from STAR tollway to Tagaytay thru Talisay, Batangas! The abundance of made me feel that there is no need to exert more effort on the accelerator!

i hope this answers your queries. thanks.

*Shizen- to my knowledge, you are the first to bring the attention of the thai website worldcarstyling.com to this thread in recent months. i had been looking at their website since the debut of the Thai Triton way back September 2005 pa! i admire the Orange Triton that has the lid that is 3-4 inches higher from the bed and merges with a roll bar. as far as purchasing from them it may not be feasible because most of the BOSBs are satisfied with their accessory purchases from local stores i.e. miggyboy & carryboy just to name a few. thanks.

Thanks for answering my query Mr. ianmitsulancer! I'm kinda wary of the site because it doesn't exactly have a built-in store in the site, it's basically just a gallery of images of auto accessories and you have to inquire for the pricing of each part manually.

Anyway, I've been browsing through Carryboy's international site, and I'm interested in their G-500 Fiberglass Canopy...

    http://www.carryboy.com/fiber_g500.php

Is this model being sold here? I'm eager to see a black Strada with a matching G-500.

...checked the Strada Club video on YouTube. Yung kay aiyesha, G-500 ba yon?

Just wanted to share my latest upgrade.
Carryboy G3 Hardtop on Strada/ Triton GLS Sport 3.2L A/T

    Rear Quarter View

    Rear View

Elevation View - I love how the rear curve was matched by the G3.

    Bird's Eye View

Sorry if the pics did not seem good enough. My wife was not in the mood to take artistic pics. She was hesistant about the hardtop and according to her, the strada lost its 'coolness' or 'sporty' factor.
Anyway, she will learn to love it. In anycase, I can take it off after sometime, if required. But for me, I like it.

It's nice... But it looks higher than the Strada's roof... Probably an increase drag?

Thanks for showing me that, Sir Ian. I will have to agree with the dude's wife in that I think the Strada loses some of its innate sportiness with that kind of canopy. That's why I'm attracted to the G-500's shape.

Does anyone have a suking tindahan in Cebu for Carryboy products?

At that time that I went our province in Nueva Ecija my average speed was 90-100 with occassional burst of speed to 120-140 to overtake and feel the power of the machine. That trip gave me 11 km/L.

Yung city driving, which I do almost everyday from Quezon City to Manila and back, average speed that shows sa multi-information display monitor is 17-18 km/hr. and that gives me 7-8, average 7.5 km/L.
