New Mitsubishi Strada [ARCHIVED]

Hi guys,

My first post here. Currently a car owner. Never have driven anything of this sort.

But the Strada has really piqued my interest and I'm seriously considering getting one for next year.

Actually, worry ko lang parking. Even if I have parking at home, my street sucks because there's a lot of cars parked outside and doing maneuvers in my dinky street might detract from the pleasure of owning one.

But then again you only live once.

Maybe you can tell us something about you and your current ride....and then...what made you notice the Strada.

Hi Sir Skippy, from what I read and my understanding of your post, you like the strada and you're not piqued, upset or annoyed with it, right? Typo error lang siguro. Most, if not all, of us like our stradas, right guys?

welcome po sa thread. its nice to read infos about the car your interested in...at least its through owners and not just reviewers. some car reviews are baised to the manufacturer and they were able to drive and use the car for a short period of time, unlike owners, they really know how it performs.

hi sir. okay na po..got my unit yesterday. although not replace unit..but replace transmission..ive only got to drive it for a few km...but right now...no problem. car is working just fine (as of now). it is just weird how their organization is set up...there customer relations is centralized in dealers... the person i talked to at mmpc said, they can't call customers directly..and the dealers are suppose to talk to customers..i find that weird.... for me..it just takes too long if that is their process.

although, i am glad of my Sales agent as she really help a great deal with this ordeal. that is what i call customer service.

at least now i know how mmpc does its business on taking care of its clients...its not as good as other car companies. but still...as i have always said..i still love the strada. i love looking at it eventhough my unit is only glx. i just hope i have money to get my 2din head unit soon... sta claus (pls pls pls give me 2 din hu. hehehehh )

seriously guys.....lets keep this thread moving in case we have problems on our rides.

tomorrow ill be picking up my plates and my hood deflector..i hope it looks good..ill show pics as soon as I can.

btw, how much is wheel well mouldings?

hehehhe. glx ang unit ko bro..so wla ako nun computer thing that you guys have..so that space is applicable for 2din hu or avt 707 lcd and bili na lang dvd player..

yung sa wheel well, i read somewhere here that the back part doesnt fit well.. what i mean was the moulding around the wheels...the ones like the gls. hehehhe.

Actually hindi yata typo yun kasi his use of the word "piqued" was meant as "arousing someone's interest" as in "piqued his curiosity", not as "putting someone in a bad mood".

Rant lang ako. nakakita ako kanina ng black GLX sa marcos hi-way. bakit meron nang black na GLX huhuhu. Nung bumili ako sabi nila di daw magkakaroon ng ganun! Di bale, mas madali ko namang ma-maintain itong cool silver .

Btw, may mga pet names na ba mga rides nyo?

so far di na bumalik. pag almost 1/4 na lan gas ko, dagdag uli ako. pwede din kasi maging cause ng pagpasok ng hangin sa engine ay pag konti ang gas tapos pababa o paakyat ka ng daan. mataas daw ang fuel line ng strada.

problem din sa ibang gas station, luma na un tangke nila. kaya dapat sa medyo maayos na gas station ka pa refill..

I have also tested my strada for the last week. So far ok na rin ngayon. Sa tingin ko nga mukhang nag-improve yung takbo. Hindi na katulad ng dati na parang sakal. Ok nga seguro yung suggestion mo na kailangan hindi paabutin ng empty sa metro o kaya i-refill na lang mga 1/4 bago maubos ang laman ng tangke.
