i think you should write a formal complaint to the dealer and include mmpc and tell them what happened. for me..thats just pure bad workmanship or design flaw of the flarings. did you notice if your any part of your flaring was not flatly installed? (i mean before the incident).
i think from the investigation they can see the culprit of why your flares flew off. from your pictures, i see the flaring are installed using clips only and screws at the front. maybe clips are not durable and should be installed using screws. maybe that can fix the problem.
let us know the findings they give and what they will do. because maybe the car didnt have wind testing that included the fender flares. i dont think its lemon car because lemon cars usually related to mechanics things not asthetics parts. but there must be something wrong with fit and finish.
guys who had fender flares installed, how did they install your flarings? if you were there when they installed it, please elaborate on how they installed your flarings and maybe that might help us in the future.
