Aside from IPOD, I have also tried different USB devices like external hard disk, cell phone and flash or thumb drive with MP3 music on it. So far, yung flash drive gumana. I find this convinient compare to the IPOD because of the size. You just copy mp3 music from your desktop or laptop then plug it to the USB connector so no extra wires dangling around. Besides, you can get 8GB flash drive now so you can store more music. Has anybody tried other USB devices here?

The llash drive works fine with me and my current music source in my strada.

Tried using an SD memory card with a USB adapter but it does not work. Kenwood HU ng 3.2. For info lang.

I have the JVC unit. Actually, I'm only using a 2GB and 4GB flash drive alternately. I also have a memory card reader but I haven't tried it yet. I only used my 40GB IPOD once. Hazzle kasi sa loose cable. Although I have a transmitter attached to it so I can tune to one of the FM channels and play it wirelessly.

I'm using a pioneer 7950UB since last year and have my music stored on a 160Gb WD Passport external USB HDD. I had to use a specialized cable connected to the drive and the auxiliary power slot of the strada to provide the lacking 500mA power (for a total of 1000mA) coz the HU can only provide up to 500mA.

Hassle nga lang in searching for the music you want to play pero I got around this by making playlists when I'm at home para meron na akong ready-to-play music for whatever I feel like listening to.

I also have an RF sub behind the back seat, a Crunch amp beneath the front passenger seat and Morel Ovation seps for the front. Gonna change the back speakers once I get the money for it.

it is difficult to use the stradas stock head units usb since you do have to make playlists. instead, i resorted to put an additional auxillary line-in to simplify playing of my ipod. it also sounds better than a rf transmitter.

Im sure all are interested to know.
    sir moxxxs!
pasensya na ngayon lang ulit ako nag online.-- di naka lift ang strada ko.di rin ako nagpalit ng suspension. tire size is 285/75R16 baja MTZ. mas malapad lang ng konti yung rims ko sa stock mags kaya mejo nakalabas ang gulong. fuel mileage is 9.5.( not advisable for long drive kaya i did not tradein my stock tires and mags para may pampalit.) ginagamit ko lang pang off road at pag magpapapogi sa EB..hehe
see you guys sa fun run!

Whats the model of the 12" subwoofer? I'm concerned about the thickness of the sub. Pioneer has 'shallow-type' subwoofers which are around 98mm thick compared to 177mm for standard ones.
Its sony xplod, 12" standard size thicker than 177mm, fit in the box but custom made. , the tools been transfered to the back since i've install a canopy. 4 ur case if u dnt hve the canopy u can put the jack under driver sit if it fits. PS sub enclosure will only fit on glx since it dont hve a power windows in the rear glass

    Update sa prices ng carryboy:

Motorized sport lid without the roll bars - PhP39,000+
    G500 canopy - PhP67,000+

My wife and I went there kahapon, although she wants the g500, she settled sa motorized sport lid. i might give the downpayment sa monday. brothers, makakakuha ba tayo ng discount sa carryboy? medyo nagmahal na daw ngayon eh, then 45-60 days ang waiting period for the stocks to arrive from thailand.

    * GLS and GLS Sport users- since the RV meter is too good to be removed to install a screen, is it possible to install a pioneer HU with a motorized LCD...? what came to mind is that the dashboard design curve is a challenge. any feedback?

    thanks
