Palagay ko ay cost cutting rather than paying attention to detail.

The inverted look is more evident in the A/T version. Handbrake placement, even if it's on the wrong side, is not that far. Mine is M/T so the gear shifter is closer to the driver making driving much easier. Kapag offroad naman, madali rin namang abutin yung transfer shift lever.

Pagsasawaan ko muna spaceship ko. Siguro after 4-5 years pa. Pagdating ng panahon na yun eh baka may mas maganda pa kay new boy.

Para sa akin, perfect pa tong ride ko sa present needs ko. Comfort and driveability ang mas habol ko kesa power. Mahirap yatang mapantay yon sa strada dahil super comfy ride talaga at small yung turning radius (5.9m) kaya madaling i-drive sa pasikot-sikot at masikip na daan. Turning radius ni new boy eh 6.6m yata. Sana ma-improve din yung ride kasi ang tagtag ng frontier ko dati.

may bago nang nakita akong Strada, almost same look ng current estrada pero mas maganda ang headlights, mas flattened ng konti.

I was able to inspect the newly arrived unit at casa last Friday. Externally, the only difference between the 2.5 and the 3.2 stocks that I remember seeing are the addition of the word "Sport" on the name "Strada GLS" at the back and the wider tires.

Guys, just want to confirm the other difference between the 2.5L & 3.2L.

May mga added feature/accessory/etc. ba?

Yup, the SHIFT LEVER is made for the LHD versions for the local Strada. Together with this, there's also an inverted, opposite one for the RHD versions (see first pic i posted).

What I'm referring to is the BASE FRAME, not the lever or handle but rather the "floor panel extension of the dashboard". This is the panel which covers the hole in the cabin separating the SHIFT LEVER and the transmission itself.

Look at the second and the third pic I posted... Doesn't the second pic look more correct? The curved portion of the silver base frame should be the side more distant from the driver. Seating on the driver's seat, this curved portion should serve as a boundery between you and your passenger while the 'open' portion' should mark it as an extension of the cockpit. For the local version, it seems otherwise. Seating on the passenger seat, one would feel that the shifters are made for him/her. Just my thought..

very right, your obesrvance is duly noted. loks like it nga. in this way, the manula tranny version looks better than the auto tranny, yung auto tranny looks really for the RHD version.

looks bare. skinny tires. no bumpers sa likod. and no over fenders.

pero pwde na din. buy na lang larger tires diba? less than a million sya afaik

Nakadisplay yung Strada 2.5 GLX 4X2 at Strada 3.2 CRDI A/T sa CAMPI Motorshow...Iba pala ang rims ng 3.2 liter 4X4 kaysa sa 2.5 4X4 variant..While ok ang decision ng MMPC na ilabas yung Strada 4X2 na tall version and priced it really good!!

i read this before but can someone give me contact number of company who sells chip upgrades for the strada - also if anybody has tried it can you give me feedback as to the gains and drawbacks of this upgrade- perceptible ba? how do they go about with the installation - is it like a piggyback? really seriously considering this.
