January 2nd, 2006 04:05 PM #814after the very long wait and acquiring the proper tools, finally natuloy na rin ang DIY plan ko. i added 3 washers dun sa wastegate. grabe hirap na hirap ako kasi ang laki ng mga kamay ko! did it for 2 hours. sa initial testing ko (butt dyno) im very pleased with the results. bumilis siya talga! Shocked although konti lang. still, it's worth the time, effort and the scratches on my arm. hehe

congrats jayvee. ako naman inalis ko yung washers, wa-epek sa AT except for the decrease in mileage.
james, mark emailed me pero so far wala pa rin yung confirmation email from the site. weird.

laging umaandar yung turbo pre. kaya lang peak power is achieved at a certain rpm.
in our case, small low pressure turbo lang naman which kicks in at around 2k rpm up
Laking difference nung washers nung naka stick shift ako sa Gen2 ko dati, pero sa gen2.5 wala talaga akong maramdaman except for the .2-.3km/L consumption increase hehe. But that's only me.

pk: really? i'll followup again with the guys about the confirmation email.
pajojo: sa casa. dati sa fairview pero since mas madaling puntahan yung sa balintawak, dun na kami.
as far as the turbo...i notice that it starts spooling up at about 1.2k rpm on a level road.
How about 97 LXi?
