this just happened earlier...
the "D" indicator on the dash wouldn't light up anymore, though i can engage D normally. is it just as simple as changing a bulb or something?
asar, sunod-sunod ah. yesterday, it was the right parking light. when i got home naman, the left went as well. now the "D" indicator on the dash...

My friend has this 91 Montero LS and he want's to sell it.Orig paint white but medyo labo na ang paint, no stepboard,no mudguards,one missing headlight washer, wiper is working front and rear, Head lamps and tail light's are ok,Interior is Preserved, Sunroof may konting rust.Front and Rear Bumper may konting damage. Engine V6 w/white smoke mukhang blowby na.May parts ba ang engine nito na available here?Kung pa overhaul ko may shop ba kayo mai recomend? Price is 180t what do you think mga bro ok naba presyo?

is this the gen2 na dito? most possible parts sources would be el dorado, atco, and another shop that i forgot, they carry mitsu OEM parts. price seems okay.

Strictly speaking, 1992 lumabas ang GEN II Montero sa U.S. so malamang GEN I pa iyan.
Madaming nag-DIY ng engine rebuild sa 4x4wire pero hindi ako ganun ka-talented. Yung iba bumibili ng 'crate' [rebuilt] engine (may recommended sources sila) para salpak na lang.
Madali lang naman ayusin ang GEN I na USDM. Halos lahat ng masisira diyan, nagawan na ng paraan sa 4x4wire.

Kung makinis naman ang unit, ok na iyan. The engine and transmission are used in other Mitsu products. Madaming parts ang 6g72. That is also the engine in our GEN II Montero (though upgraded na from the GEN I 151 bhp to 177 bhp).
If those guys at the 'wire can rebuild their engines in their dorm rooms [totoo ito] and garages, siguro kayang-kaya din ng pinoy iyan.

anyone got spare pajero engines that we could practice on? eheheheh.
i wanna try rebuilding one too. :D
that price is definitely okay. tutal, you'll be putting in some cash after that to fix it up eh.

Thank's mga bro, one more question im thinking kasi if possible to convert it to 6g72 to 4d56 engine? ano kaya mga covertion na kelangan? Na try ko kasi dati sa 3door lang na 4g52 engine yata yon bolt on lang swak na swak. Ito kaya 6g72 to 4d56?

4d56 to 4m40 is not bolt-on.
Baka magka-issues din sa 6g72 to 4d56.
