mga ka paj! regarding dun sa tok-tok sound sa front ng unit ko, dinala ko sa motorix sa banawe, ang culprit collar bushing ng torsion bar ubos na, kaya nagpalit lang nun, 4pcs * 80 pesos ea. mas mahal pa yung labor 500pesos hahaha, pero ok lang at least wala na yung lumalagutok na sound..happy na uli..pina higpitan ko na rin pala yung mga bolt ng cross member...swabe na ang takbo ngayon ng pajenskie ko...

Ako naman, magpacalibrate ng injection pump and nozzle, sa suking mekaniko ko lang pinagawa. P7,000 lahat ng gastos ko. Bukas ko pa machecheck nito kung hindi na mamamatay ang engine pag idle.

Pansin ko, mabilis tumaas ang rpm ko ngayon, at parang mas responsive ang engine.

Next project ko yung mga upuan ko sa harap at manibela. kailangan pa re-upholster.

After that, I need new tires, balak ko mag 275, 265 lang ang nakalagay sa ralli art rims ko eh.

Pajero Gurus, anybody here knows if the intercooler turbo of Gen. 2 (4D56) is the same with Gen. 3 (4M40)? if not can i replace the intercooler of Gen. 2 to Gen. 3 because i think this make the Gen. 2 a little bit faster, IMO only hehe.... TIA

Correction: comparing it to Gen. 2.5 pala not Gen. 3 sorry po

bro, pang ilalim din iyang torsion bar, yung round bar naka parallel sa chassis (kabilaan) connecting sa front suspension sa may lower wishbone hanggang dun sa may middle cross member. yung torsion bar sa right side ay just below ng muffler yung sa left side katabi sya ng transfer case. bale apat yung collar bushing na kelangan (2 ea) parang hard plastic lang yung bushing 80 pesos isa, pakabit mo na lang sa suking mekaniko medyo mahal kasi labor dun sa motorix pero ok ang trabaho nila.

bro magkano ngayon yun timing belt? wala ba bro sa banaue ng acceleration cable? kung wala talaga hindi ba pwedeng convert or any replacement since alam ko ang JDM gen 2 eh similar sa parts ng L300. kung gusto mo naman scout mo yun mga surplus shops sa bulacan. baka meron ka makuha dun

Hindi ko alam price ng timing belt kasi set iyan. 2 belts plus other parts. I think 6.5 or 8.5k total plus 1.3k labor.

Yung engine parts naman same. Speedmeter cable same din. Pero iba ang both ends ng cable. At masmahaba ang cable ng JDM.

Where in Bulacan and safe ba? May narinig na ako dati pero ang joke e ingat lang at baka matsempo tayo anti-carnapping task force. I think try ko muna mga surplus shops sa banawe pero saan sa banawe (or QC)?

just got back from a long trip to ilocos. our first time to go there using the paj (2001 FM 2.8 44k mileage; new oil/oil filter; 30/34 psi) and we were very satisfied with its performance. kayang-kaya yung mga rough roads and the ride was quite pleasant. no problem at all. of course my only issue is the slow (er) acceleration compared to our CRV but ok na rin since tapos na ako sa kaka racing. also, on the way there, i checked my FC and only got 7.3 km/L (almost pure highway driving). so its much lower than the 10k that was previously discussed. ba't kaya?

Para sakin lang, Pambihira nag 10km/lt FC for 4M40 kahit pure highway driving pa.

egsunio, Last December also been in Laog and Vigan My FC was 7.8/lt top speed is 100kph, no sudden stop no quick acceleration. My FM just calibrated and had Oil change before the trip. New Fuel and Ail filter. I guess that is really it.

kahit ako nagulat din. registered reading ko is 500 kms. after the trip, nasa 909 kms na. then during the start of the trip, nagpakarga lang kami ng 1000 petot ng diesel at 24.80 per liter, so nasa 40.3 liters yun. nung kinuha ko ang fc niya:

909-500 = 409 kms - total distance travelled

409kms/40.3L = 10.15 kms/L

dito ako nagulat kasi last time nag long trip yan na kasama ako, bulacan to bicol, eh nag average lang siya ng 8km/L. ngayon, bulacan-lemery-nagsugbu-tagaytay-bulacan, 10km/L!

tire pressures 26 at front, 28 at back. average at hi-way 100-120kph at 3000rpm. walang air-con for most of the trip. nag air-con lang kami nung natrapik sa nasugbu-tagaytay, nung umulan sa slex going to lemery, and upon entry back to manila.

just got din po from a long trip from cavite to sariaya, quezon.. measured my fc, mixed city and highway, 8-9 km..

what i did was had my full tank (automatic po ito hindi ko pinasagad) before the trip then reset the trip meter.. then had another full tank on the same gas station.. record the km.. of the trip then the gas used in liters.. you have the paremeters for your fc.. km/liters.

mga sirs.. i'm searching for a pair of "FIELD MASTER" badge the one under the PAJERO badge, anyone here have a spare or know some shop i can inquire it with..

Share ko lang po. Thursday before the holy week, nag visit ako kay Joseph Atutubo to check my intermittent blinking problem pag naka 4x2. Symptom is nag blink then parang may humming sound and parang may sound nag-engage sa 4x4. The only way mawala ingay is to engage to 4x4. Super bilis nya nagawa , ang problem is sa sensor. Now magaan na takbo and di na parang laging shift to and fro sa 4x4 and 4x2.

Then konting check nya unit and I am convinced sa ibang observations nya. Balik siguro ako pag nakapag ipon na for my water pump replacement.

nangyari na din sa akin eto. what i did is, during that time eh hindi ako active dito. i searched the international forum ng pajero. what i did, bumili ako ng electrical contact cleaner, then nilinis ko ang mga sensors and ayun, nawala ang blinking problem.

mga sir.. i have the same problem blinking ung front wheel.. led sa 4wd.. wat i did is tinangal ko lng ung led sa dash.. hehe.. nakaka irita po kasi..

sir saan po ba located itong sensor na ito baka madumi din lng po ung sa akin.. or better yet i have it replaced..

nasa may engine located yun sa kin. may markings yun na blue and yellow. bunutin nyo lang yun at linisan ng electrical contact cleaner. hindi ko lang alam ang sa FM at local na gen. 2 ah... i'll post some pics pag may time ako
