Is this based on the new Lancer's regional brochure?

I think not all markets will get the M/T 2.0 GT, I think in Malaysia its only available with an INVECS III CVT.

In Singapore below the Lancer EX 2.0 GT M/T and CVT is the 2.0 Sports CVT, it has 17 inch alloys on 215/50R17 tires, fog lights, bodykit and a lip spoiler.

Below this is the 2.0 Elegance CVT model which has no fog lights, no bodykit, no spoiler, and smaller 16 inch alloys on 205/60R16 tires.

Of course there are other interior trim changes too, the lower models also have less airbags and rear drum brakes.

*In Singapore the lower Sport and Elegance trim can be ordered with either a 155PS 2.0 liter MIVEC or a 109PS 1.5 liter MIVEC.

i was told that its the brochure they will use locally. got it straight from my friend who works in the marketing/communication department of mitsu philippines.

they hope to bring all options here except the sunroof. i specifically asked about the manual tranny, and was told its on their check list as well. sana totoo nga.

the new lancer should be out before end of the year and evo x 2-3rd quarter next year. (feb release for the US model)

not sure about the malaysian version. although i just came back from KL 2 weeks ago. didnt see any new lancer there.


thats the cover of the catalog. only 2.0 variant (GT/GLX/GLS) are included in the brochure and thats what they will be bringing in locally.
