2008 Mitsubishi Lancer EX GLX / GLS / MX / GT / GTA [ARCHIVED]

nakalagay dun sa motoring section ng Philippine Star kasama sa ilalaunch ang Lancer GSR... Oh may gulay! Im an avid fan of this car and i want to see the new Lancer with my bare eyes sa campi car show! Waaaaa!

There hasn't been a real GSR in a longtime besides the EVO Lancers.
Mitsubishi Philipines was the only ones re-using the old GSR model name on their various models.
Before it was the top box type Lancer, then it was used for the RP version of the Mirage Coupe, last time it was the leather seat version of the GT 2.0 sedan.

All I want to see is the production Lancer EX GT 2.0 on the brochures and the photos above.
Not unless, last minute Mitsubishi Philippines decided to rename the GT model into GSR?

I think GT is more catchy than GSR... it fits the new Lancer for its aggressive looks.

I just saw the new upcoming lancer EX GT today at the philippine international car show! and all I can say is WOW!!! roomy interior! nice bucket seats at the front! and at the back!.. it also has the same 6 speed paddleshifter from the outlander.. and the same 650 watt rockford fosgate sound system!! I actually believe that it has a bigger interior than the civic!.. I asked one of the sales reps present how much is the SRP.. he said that it ranges anywhere from 900K to 1.2M.. so guys better save up if you want one!

Ok yung Lancer EX GT sa CAMPI Motorshow ha(isa sa crowd drawer)..Pero mukhang aalisin ang side,Knee and curtain airbag sa Philippine version,ewan ko kung pati yung Fast Key(similar sa keys na ginagamit ng Nissan Teana at Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.7 V6) sa alisin nila..

Overall ok ang new Lancer EX GT,yung Lancer Evolution 10/X eh ibebenta rin ng MMPC rito next year(maybe 3rd o 4th quarter ng 2008).Expect that one to be really pricey..

Ewan ko kng totoo un sabi sakin pero un highest variant will be around 950k to 1.2M more or less...

Anyways ang ayaw ko lng dito eh un quality ng plastic nya esp sa door handles...mas cheapo looking pa kesa sa civic...

interior space....civic pa din...pero angas tlga un front design....the rear...uhhh not much comment...

what's with the "EX" badge? GT trim level yung sa dispaly nila di ba?

nagsawa na ba sila sa binyag ng pinoy? singkit, itlog, pizza

No offense to civic owners but that beautiful car has turned to an everyday joe because everyone has one. the same thing will probably happen to the lancer... who knows. pero subjectively, i'd still take the lancer over the civic. i'm not too big on the starship enterprise dashboard of the civic.... and the looks of the civic, although admittedly pretty, are kinda anaesthetic. Looks nice but unemotional.

traditionally civics are expensive than lancers and corollas. if the new lancer will break the 900K mark for their low end variant, it will definitely become more expensive than the civic. any truth to this price range ba?

i agree with PK, civic looks ok pero unemotional and i also hate the humongous dashboard, nalalakihan nga ako sa outie dashboard lalo na sa civic
