I highly doubt this will be a fuel efficient vehicle because it's curbweight is nearing the midsize category class. 1370-1400+kg!!! I wonder how it got so overweight considering all aluminum block yung engine niya. Even sa hp and torque figures niya I'm skeptical about it. Imagine, ang claim dito sa aten ay 158hp ang Phils. while the rest of the world nasa 152 lang. This is almost the same problem na nagkaroon ang altis before. 145hp claim pero rest of the world nasa 136 or 138hp lang?!

We haven't even seen a local brochure of what comes standard w/ the new lancer. Sana totoo nga yung standard 6 or 7 airbags.

standard po yung 6-7 airbags. knee airbag po yung isa. that airbag is one of the rare things you can find in an executive car. what more in this compact sedan. and look at whatyou're getting. 650w rockford fosgate... steering wheel mounted shifters... cool body... spoiler... 18 inchers... bmw, err... newly developed chassis

why is MMPC giving a soft launch of the lancer and not as extravagant as the altis debut? wala bang blitz? delayed na nga e... and only in alabang! why? why? why? why?

Talked to a sales folks in MMC main office and he said he is unaware that there is already a 08 lancer available. Can somebody confirm that ALabang is actually selling this already? Maybe it is just on display from the motorshow last year.

Guys just like what i said the units are for sale this coming April the latest daw is May. I provided you with the actual pics, This will be the GT that will be on sale locally.

Tama ka SaberRider...mabigat yung kaha nya versus sa engine pero para sakin okay lang. But i hope the MIVEC engine will be fuel efficient. Isa daw sa nagpabigat is yung 18" standard mags, standard body kits, subwoofer and i remember bale 8 ang speakers nito sabi nung SA. Basta sa features plang sulit na yan lalo na yung cool na "Free-hand Advanced Security Transmitter" (Fast Key)..Hi-tech ang feeling...Kaya lang hindi dadalin dito yung may moonroof...

Yup meron na silang pre-selling activities (nagpareserved na ko... ), tawag nila is "sneak previewing". Since salesman kausap ko bka daw tumagal ang waiting time after the first deliveries sin CBU Japan (wow!) to.

The SA and the managers of citimotors alabang confirmed to me that i can get the unit pinakalate nadaw yung May. There are only 2 units lang daw na dumating for display at sa knila daw muna binagsak then hiraman nalang daw mga showrooms.

Subaru 2.0- AWD Sozy daw-------mahal maintenance, mahal parts, hirap hanap, at walang temp gauge (panu mo malalaman kung overheat na!)

Focus Diesel- Pupustahan ko 2.0 Civic dito kahit may partida pa, tested hitting 200kph from shell NLEX to angeles.....hahapit ang likod mo sa seat sa bilis------as we all knew pag diesel bubutasin ang bulsa mo sa maintenance at pag nagumpisa magsira...

New Lancer- Astig ang porma- not tested

thanks bro, pero mukang di ko makikita dun this week kasi aalis parents ko punta ng probinsya malas. hintay hintay nalang siguro ako tutal hindi naman ako nagmamadali. kung bibili man kami kung sakali ng bagong kotse baka sa may or june pa, kaya pwede pa maghintay.
