Just an update guys, had the battery connector replaced by Mazda under warranty.
Had to change batteries na rin kasi ayaw na mawala nung warning sa dash. Due for replacement na.

Home delivery and installation. Nag cash na lang ako 11,800 tapos may 200php discount sa trade-in ng battery.
Sabi ni kuya minsan pa daw sa mall parking siya nag install.
Oh before i forget, 2-year warranty. May plastic pa and sticker yung warranty card dinikit ko na lang sa loob ng sasakyan. Lovely service.

Hi sirs! Would it still be sensible to purchase a new mazda 3 1.5 hb this month when a new one will be revealed by this month's end? Im thinking of getting one sana or would it be better to get another unit, like maybe the hyundai kona. Use will be largely aroumd the city woth the occassional trip up north. Thank you for those who will share their two cents![]()
Reveal will be 28Nov LA Auto Show. How soon will the production model be out? That remains to be seen. Late 2019 in euro, nippon & US markets? Here, likely '20 beyond? Much like the Sky CX9, CX5 KF launches here, slightly delayed.
If you can wait, that'll be something to look forward to. If not, you can see the satisfaction on here w/ the current 1. Have you tested? If not, try it & learn why.[emoji4]

The battle tested Mazda3 1.5L is still a good choice imho if you're looking for a sedan that's fuel efficient yet fun to drive. Cabin space is good enough for 4 people. Ride is comfortable for long drives like going to Baguio (even to Pagudpud). Car is very responsive, fun to drive. You get that smile whenever you drive it at the curves. Cruise control is something you will need when driving along SLEX/TPLEX, makes monotonous driving more bearable.
The only disadvantage with a sedan like the Mazda3 is the ground clearance. SUVs like the Hyundai Kona are more practical to use due to its high ground clearance. It provides more assurance that the car can get through bad road conditions and floods. I was seriously considering the Subaru XV and Forester before I bought the Mazda3. Both the XV and Forester provide an impressive ground clearance at par with the Fortuner, roomy cabin and boot space and excellent safety features. In the end I still went for the Mazda3. My childish yearning for an affordable car that's fun to drive trumped over practicality [emoji12]
The new Mazda3 is definitely going to be better than the models we have right now. I reckon it will reach our shores a year from now or early 2020. That's going to be a long wait. In a way that's a good thing. Plenty of time to think over what you really want and need for your road adventures [emoji6]
