Read a rumor that Mazda might announce a wider and longer MX5 variant with a Skyactiv NA V8 or twin turbo V6. Hmmm.. It's just a rumor or a Mazda fanboy dream.

2.5T skyG & 2.0 SkyX engine options in the next 3!!!!
Fr Jalopnik:
"Automotive News Europe cited Mazda CEO Akira Marumoto as stating that the new Mazda 3 will get the 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G found in the current lineup, as well as the Skyactiv-X engine, which will be a 2.0-liter mild hybrid, and will “be positioned as the higher grade.” Marumoto also allegedly told the site that the Skyactiv-X-equipped car will have the same driving dynamics of the 2.5-liter, but it will offer the fuel economy of a 1.5-liter diesel.
“The arrival of all-new Mazda 3 marks the beginning of a whole new generation of Mazda cars,” Mazda says in its press release."

Anyone here knows where I can buy locally the following K&N air filters for the Mazda3 skyactiv? Thanks!
K&N 33-248 Replacement Air Filter, Replacement Filters
K&N 69-6 33TTK Performance Air Intake System, Intake Kits
My battery is almost 3yrs old now, planning to change it with a higher cranking amp. Is that okay?

hi guys,
my sun roof is stuck, won't open.anyone knows how to fix this?
thanks in advance.
Sir trav, would you know the intake manifold gasket part number for 1.5v?
Mid 20s. A bit too early. US 87AKI is equivalent to 91RON here. The difference may be blend switching from summer to winter & additives, or lack of, w/ the different brands. MazdaPh specifically specified Shell, a Top Tier fuel, to every new Sky owner. Might be something there.
Also, the gen3 Sky 3s came 2years after the early Skyactivs, CX5s & M6s... Mazda may have done updates to address the build-up concerns...An issue anticipated & expected but yet unseen in gen3 Mown3r groups, local & outside. I'm familiar w/ a few well kept Skys to have clocked beyond 100k w/o build-up treatment done...yet.
Still, there will be no denying walnuts will be part of every DI engine's health regimen...later better than sooner.[emoji4]
