Errors add up and GPS only measures distances assuming no elevation changes (think trigonometry, Pythagorean theorem, hypotenuse, etc) as Bravoexo said. Meanwhile your odometer and tires measure pure road distances. E.g. a mountain road distance on a map (or as a satellite sees it) seems only 2 kilometers, but in reality can be as long as 4 kilometers depending on the gradient and elevation change.

Aside from errors due to tire size, pressure & wear, manufacturers purposely program speedos optimistically as cushion for speed limits. GPS should be more accurate.

Thanks for the inputs. Yeah GPS is more accurate. That being said, our km/ltr reading is affected also.

Last I checked, they're all of the same size, but differ in PNs.

    1.5 Plugs:
    Mazda PN: PE5S 18110, NGK ILKAR7L11, Denso ZC2OHPR11

    2.0 Plugs:
    Mazda PN: PE01-18-110, NGK DILKAR7F8, DENSO FC20HPR8

    2.5 Plugs:
    Mazda PE5R18110

    2.5 Turbo...yet to be inspected.

I haven't dug into tranny fluid change for our cars yet. I'll check on that, sir. Might be a shared part for all SkyGs.

As anticipated, Mazda FZ01-21-500 Sky auto tranny filter is a shared part for all SkyD & SkyG engines.
