I can hear engine knock at 1st and 2nd gear especially after a hump and during inclined. Mostly 1,200rpm and below. 1.5V skyactiv

Yes bro. Im hoping changing the spark plugs and throttle body cleaning will resolve the issue.

Shell fuel save gasoline. Newly replace all filters (60k pms yojin).

Bad gas perhaps? Do you go to a specific Shell or random? What's your regular route like?

I only fill up one gas station ever since. Had my fuel filter replaced 3 weeks ago and the fuel tank is clean. Been experiencing shaking due to low rpm during idle (drive mode) and neutral mode (AC OFF).

My route is pure city driving.

Pinging isn't healthy. Have the dealership run thru everything. Sensor check. Throttle body cleaning. Do you add their deposit cleaner every PMS? That helps keep the injectors clean.

Yes, i put injector cleaner every 10k km. My m3 is out of warranty already, I’ll have it check by a reputable shop.

I would highly recommend to have it checked first at the casa just to get some initial assessment of the problem. Fee should be minimal. You can opt not to have it repaired at the casa if you can't afford the repair cost. This is what I do with the 11 yr old mazda3.

It happened before my pms but this time the problem is getting worse. having my sparkplugs and throttle body cleaning now. The spark plugs have signs of combustion leak at only 30K km. According to the service manual the sparkplugs should be replace every 100,000km.

This is a very interesting case. How often is your car stucked in heavy traffic? Do you drive your car hard sometimes (eg 4000rpm or more)? Is your AC setting set to 25 degrees or more (very cold temp)?

I doubt plugs are causing the pinging. Those are good as advertised.
Here's a good plug replaced from a 1.5Sky3 that clocked over 100k kms.

My AC temp is always set to 25deg, m3 has really cold AC. I lived in the province, traffic here is moderate and I drive my m3 hard once a day to keep away or lessen the carbon buildup. I ordered the sparkplugs now in the US, its way cheaper compared to the dealer. Will change my sparkplugs after new year.
