How's your M3's DI engine intake valves? This guy made a youtube video on how to clean those intake valves.
Just look at those nasty oil and carbon deposits! These are the inevitable maintenance issues with the Skyactiv direct injection fuel engine.
Decarb service won't clean like walnut, but it should somehow help delay the buildup. The injector cleaner Mazda has is good to keep injectors clean, not the head. Catch cans can help, too.
Mazda was well aware of the DI downside when they designed the Sky. To help keep the problem of intake valve deposits that plague current direct gasoline injection engines at bay, Mazda determined that these are formed when intake valve temperatures fall below 400°C. Measures were taken for head temps to hover above this point....but we gotta do our part, though....take the longer, less jammed routes, drive the car spiritedly every chance we get...SAFELY.[emoji4]

Hi Mazda Owners, I need your expert advice.
I know, it's probably been discussed several times, but I want to ask sana if ano ma-recommend nyong iStop battery for my Mazda 2016 SkyACtive 2.0L. Im quite unfortunate when it comes to battery life. My first one died after 13 month (yes, after 1 month ng warranty period). The next one is Motolite, which lasted for 17 months (yes, it died after 2 month ng warranty period). Because of that I'm thinking of getting Amaron, i don't which exact model that I need to buy. Pero parang nakita akong inexpensive na around 6-7k ata and may 21 or 24 months of warranty. Okay na ba iyon? Ma-void ba warranty if mazda finds out that I changed my battery? Hope I can replace it tomorrow
I have another question pero medyo Out of Topic.
Regarding sa plate. Kasi I just got my plate after waiting for more than 2 years LOL. When they advised me through phone na avail na daw yung akin, I asked them yung last digit, as I concern sa coding ko. They said 8 which is Thursday sa coding. When I finally got it, for some weird reason sa bahay ko na na check na 0 yung last digit ng plate ko, which is what I hate the most. Sabi sakin taga mazda, baka namali lang dun sa excel. The reason why I'm asking about this is kung may chance ba na palitan nila yung akin. Or honest mistake lang ba yun sa part nila? When I have my plate ba, automatically sakin na yun naka Tag sa database ni LTO? Sorry I had to explain pa. I'm really bothered by it.
Thank you in advance. Looking forward sa response, kahit yung sa battery issue muna hehe. Thanks a lot guys. God bless
^^ some swear by Amaron, but 1yr na lang daw warranty. Others have tried using SF Sonic which has 2yr warranty. Both sold by Jawe. Sharing a post by a club member:
“Contribute lang ako:
JAWE
Amaron Pro 2SM - 70A (1year); 5700
SF Sonic 2SM - 70A (2yrs warranty); 4900
Minus 200 pesos sa battery trade-in
Supplier tabi ng Kremlin no stock of Amaron
Supplier sa tabi ng Big Bert’s
No stock ng Amaron for istop pero may stock ng Amaron for non-istop
Sa lahat ng pinuntahan ko, okay kausap ung sa JAWE”
Re your plate well congrats (?) on having your plate na! Mine is also already 2yrs too but still no plate. I was advised by my SA that I already have an assigned plate, but physical plate not yet available. She said if wanted to change my plate, there’s a P5k fee. Not sure if that’s applicable to you since you said it was a mistake on their part.
