no daco. the connection concerned is the one below. the clip at the base of the blue arrow is where the tube connects to the air filter housing.

belated merry xmas to all sedona/carnival tsikoteers!

mikey177 -- Thanks. We just got back from Manaoag, since you mentioned that: if it comes loose by even a millimeter or two, it can cause a whistling noise in any gear while accelerating..... I think you're correct, it must just be due to wind noise since I only hear the sound at 60kph and up....

Now, my question is, is it normal to have the whistling sound inside the cabin with all the windows closed at those speeds? It is bothersome and a little bit annoying....

Sorry jordan, I wouldn't know. Sa unit ko, may naririnig lang akong wind noise pag mga 110 kph na takbo ko (with all the windows closed).

Anyway, Merry Christmas din sa mga Carnival/Sedona owners. Stay safe on the road

Already checked it (opened then closed it) and all the windows as well..... wala naman leaks pag umuulan..... I hope I could find out what's causing it anytime soon.

Anyway, Thanks and Happy New Year to All!!!!

hindi natuloy underchassis rehab at turbine cleaning ko due to time constraints. next year na lang. anyway we still proceeded north pero zambales na lang para di gano malayo. used sea oil biodiesel on the whole trip. ganda ng performance! no smoke even up to 3000 rpm.

ngapala on the way a blue rs sedona sped past me. i had a hunch that it was mikey177. di ba taga pangasinan siya? mikey ako ung red carnival na iniwanan mo. :P

my carnival is due for a timing belt change this january. where i will have it done is a toss-up between cruven and speedyfix. both estimated that the job will probably be two days at most compared to wheel's estimate of three days minimum.

parang gusto ko ring ipasabay yung turbo cleaning. because of that cruven has the edge.

Hindi siguro ako yon, sir. The farthest place I reached yesterday was Concepcion, Tarlac, and I was driving pretty slow because of the traffic on McArthur Highway. Grabe, lahat yata ng tao sa Metro Manila nag-uwian sa probinsya kahapon

Anyway, I hope you guys have a happy and safe new year. Ilang oras na lang, 2006 na. Mag-aapat na taon na yung Sedona ko --di pa ba lalabas ang 2006 model
