sa mga mr. quickie, wala silang blank key ng kia carnival. the closest one was the honda key. 2 shops tried to duplicate the key, nabubuksan yung pintuan (medyo pilit) pero ayaw sa ignition. witch, thanks for the suggestion. subukan nga dun. diesoline, san ka nagpagawa?
just came from subic, and it's possible to bring 5 adults, 3 kids, vacation luggage ... and the dog! medyo sikip yung mga yaya sa likod with some bags but we did just fine. averaged 9.6 kms/liter (bd10 with seaoil) for the whole trip. sumakit paa ko sa NLEX, not because you had to keep pressing the gas, but had to keep my foot from doing so.
hanep makina natin, 120 kph effortless control. totoo nga na with lots to spare pa. it can cruise at 80 kph with minimum gas consumption just like my toyota corolla, but what the heck. best of all, wala na ulit usok after ihataw. baka baguio naman sa pasko.

leolop, i had my first duplicate made by a booth that specializes in aluminum keys and l.e.d. light stuff in the third floor of sm city baguio. i'm sure they have branches in other sms too. the second duplicate was done by lom key in greenhills. both work fine -- they can open the door locks and turn the ignition.

November 10th, 2005 09:13 AM #794Megamall has this booths mentioned by diesoline, they are adjascent to mall escalators...'just can't remember which floor. Btw, their pricing is lower than Handyman. Sayang nga eh, had my key duplicated when I saw these booths.
Happy shopping na lang...

November 14th, 2005 09:34 AM #797Guys, do you have any experience/ knowledge about Stereo Security Code. Mine was accidentally locked and can't use it. Apparently, the previous owner can't recall what's the combination anymore. Per Signet, a certain IC need to replace to have it activated again. Just the same, do you know any repair shop within the area of Pasig and Makati City?

witch what do you have a carnival or a sedona? if you have a carnival, the default pass code for the locked out stereo is 1111. if the previos has changed the default pass code, i think it can be reset by removing the fuse at the back of the stereo unit. that's what i did when i change my code and forgot it.
