will show my spoiler to kia, baka ma claim ko pa under warranty. Tanong ko lang mga sedona/carnival fans. Bakit ang baba ng resale value ng kotse natin?
maybe because of the brand. there are folks who still doesn't trust the korean brand.
the first cars that kia sold here did not do good with the philippine car market. but i admit korean cars are getting par with the japanese brands. there's a saying: "old sins casts long shadows"
that's the stigma of korean cars: perceived low build quality kaya low resale value din. if that perception will still persist after three years, i will be scouring the used car market for a crdi sorrento!
I put was able to creat a simple website for some of the items I mentioned in my first post. It is still under heavy construction and sorry for the ads (free Web Hosting). I'm looking for a good local ISP here to host my future wesite dedicated to KIA Carnival II.
lensio: galing lots of goodies to choose from,.....can you also indicate if the parts will fit on the carnival I?
am really looking forward those accessories/parts which will fit on the original carnival.
I like the twin mufflers, intake manifold replacement, oil catch tank, front bumper gaurd, the K&N filter, and strut bar.do u think they'll fit on the carnvial I?
Bers, they don't make much more accessories for Carnival I. I indicated which items are compatible with Carnival I. The filter, oil catch tank, intake manifold, strut bar and the twin muffler set wil fit alright (with small modification).
Diesoline, yes your right, it looks mean. It is made from polished Stainless Steel. Titinium and Carbon are also available but way too expensive. SS cost 30K/set (published price).
Once I find a good ISP I will published the all the price of each items.
As for the body kits you saw in some webpage, they were all made in Korea. I think, hindi bagay yon sa atin kasi it makes the car lowered. With Carnival long body lenght, siguradong sasayad sa humps. Pano pa kong full load di lalong bababa ang ride height.
Although they look great for display only.

Lensio:I have some questions,
1) those HID kits you have on your website, are they effective ? (e.g. higher lumens and less wattage) have you tried them?
2) do you they have a version for the carnival I? If not do you think they can be retrofitted to a carnival I?
3) how much do they cost?
4) Does the kit have some sort of bulb housing like the projector type ?
5) Would you be able to get original mags (15" or 16") of the carnival park II also? and if ever whats the cost?
Bers, I think it will fit carnival I. The only modification needed to install any HID system is to cut a hole on the center of the cap-cover. As for the wattage, HID's normally are rated at lower wattage like 35W. Thus they consumes less power and produces less heat. HID requires an electronic control gear and starter to momentarily apply high voltage to a capsule of inert gases (including xenon) creating an intense arc of white light. HID emits brilliant white light. A 35W HID produces a light closer to natural sunlight compared to a 55w halogen

Lensio, nice magwheels,.... cant wait for the price.
when do you think you will have the prices posted?
Also I am wondering how much the shipping and taxes will be if your parts/accessories will be when they reach the philippines, maybe you can post on your web site also.
lensio, re the 2nd upholstery picture: is that a monitor installed behind the sunroof? if so, who did the installation? i thought that a monitor can't be installed there because the mount might interfere with the sunroof's operation.
