Could someone please post the contact number and location of Kia Quezon Avenue? Ito ba yung malapit sa Sto. Domingo church, on the opposite side of Q Ave?

Thanks, Otep. I got their number from the Kia Philippines web site. I'll give them a call later.

August 23rd, 2006 08:53 AM #1237shauntot, suggest you read this thread. It discusses extensively the good and bad traits of our ride. The suggested website is also an option. But I believe what has been discussed here is more complete. The price of a 2nd hand carnival varies a lot. Bisoy got his ride same year model as yours, local version, at basically the same price range as yours, but at a higher mileage. Leolop got his 2001 model at a final price of below 380K from a bank who foreclosed the unit, but had to spend for some repairs, but its an imported version.

Hi Altec,
How often do we need to replace our fuel filter? Based on the previous owner
record, my Kia Car fuel filter was changed 7K ago. Time to change, right? Btw, do you have update on where can I buy Racor Fuel Filter (is it still your recommended brand?) here in Mla and how much does it cost nowadays?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Jabr,
Yes, I live near South City Homes...

August 23rd, 2006 03:10 PM #1239Hinlog, the Kia manual states change fuel filter every 30K. From what I recall from the Casa, they recommend every 20K. Racor fuel filter estimates the need to replace at around 18K. I haven't used racor in any of my vehicles. We use racor in our generator sets though. I don't know if racor fuel filters for cars have been commercialized in the Philippines. Haven't kept in touch with Diesoline, who is supposed to be the distributor. I use Micro brand fuel filters instead, which I found to serve the same purpose. But my Sedona is using original Kia fuel filter. If you read the back pages in this thread, there was a post by Leoncio about two different kinds of Sedona/Carnival filter. They are not interchangeable. When I changed my fuel filter assembly, I ended up installing the older version, kasi walang replacement stock ang newer version.

shauntot, what model is the carnival? rs or ls? there's a lot of differences in terms of comfort features. 17k mileage is pretty good.
if you saw altec's post that i got mine at P380k, that's right but mileage was at 42k, tsaka naka-jackpot talaga ako. good luck!
need to replace my dunlop le mans rv501s, where's the best place to get them? magkano kaya?
Are they on track to surpass last year's sales?
