home sweet home... drove my carnival for a smooth and comfy ride of 437km total - Alabang to subic and back. It's got this ford expedition like ride (almost)... it's just that our carnival is a lot better in so many ways. Think of 747 comforts...

.Parang mas safe ang carnival - matatag. No exagerrations but madali ka talagang aantukin sa long drive due to its very nice suspensions siguro..
.Hindi hirap ang makina - 100-150kph avg was easy along nlex and sctex.
.Malakas ang aircon - yun lang sometimes sobrang lamig. it took us a while before we were able to mix the right temp in front and at the back. The temp control at the rear cabin was a big plus - mga kids ko na ang nagtitimpla ng tamang lamig. Medyo na anticipate ko na nung una yan kaya on the way to subic me mga blankets silang pinadala ko.
By the way, I took off the middle seat in the 2nd row seats. Ayun! Daming snacks and junk food. No dull moment for my kids. Me mga lagayan pa ng books and magazines.
.All power doors- pogi points kami dito. Hahaha! Pasikat boy! Lapit agad ang mga sikyo sa hotel. Yung ibang guests naglakas loob naman ako interviewhin about our carnival. I just told them, with a 5-yr warranty, how could you go wrong? Pambili lang ang problema dyan kase me kamahalan...
.Fuel consumption - diko pa nakwenta. I consumed half a tank. Nag register sya as high as 9.2l/100kms sa info board (ano na nga ba tawag dun?). Ibig ba sabihin nag avg ako ng 10.8km/li?

Verdict: This van is for keeps. I love it. My wife loves it. The kids love it. We're already planning for our next long trip. Pagudpud siguro.

To answer your question, iba ang navara bro... BRUTE FORCE! Animal sa kalsada yan. Think of Charles Barkely. Ang Carnival naman, talagang pang family... 747 comforts. Para ka lang nagkakape sa coffee shop.

Actually bro mga nasa 15.0 din sya pag panghatid sa school from alabang to ortigas. I guess for it's size, ok na siguro yan. diko pa nga lang maconsider na city driving ang tinatakbo nya kase it travels everyday from point A to point B lang. Walang pang mga stop overs, etc. Maybe in a couple of months of regular use mas accurate na ang reading ko.

    Thanks bro!

Kase before I left subic, from 9.2 naging 11.0 na sya. I was actually expecting more because of the traffic we encountered along edsa.

Yes sir! I agree with you 100%... parang covered pickup na nga din sya 'no? ang laki ng space pag folded down na ang seats to the floor.

    * softop,
tsip ask ko lng, nung inilabas mo ba unit mo couple of weeks back may kasamang tow hook sa toolbag mo? and does ur unit have dual (upper & lower) glove box compartment? yung akin kc acquired in July e walang tow hook tapos single glove box lng. yung driver seat wala n ring adjustment lever for lumbar support. seat height adjustment n lng natira.

    Hmmmm... isa-isahin natin bro:
    1.tow hook - YES
2.upper and lower (dual) glove box compartment - YES
3.adjustment lever for lumbar support - What is this?
    4.seat height adjustment - YES

I'm not sure why but mine must've been one of the "hoarded" units by the plant. Di ba nagkaubusan ng units bigla a couple of months back? Or it could be the other way around. Mine could be the newer parating.

Why don't you ask your dealer? What got me disapointed was the lack of a passenger airbag. Naging glove box na lang (upper). Baka yours has one?

Anyway, the whole family goes bananas everytime we use the carnival. Ang luwag nya kase, it puts everybody in a good mood. If the family is happy, the pappy is happy..

Wow, grabe naman pala nakuha kung unit kung ganon, kc lahat ng dinescribe nyo e wala sa akin. as in no tow hook, no lumbar adjustment at single glove box lng. ok lng sana kung pinalitan ng airbag kaso hindi rin, as in driver side lng din ang may airbag. considering na EX pa unit ko. naka-stamp pa sa body na 2009 model sya. i got my unit last july 1. i actually asked the dealer sometime back pero sabi nila they can't do anything kasi CBU nga daw carnival ntin. so kung ano laman at itsura nya pagdating dito e yun na yun.actually yun ngang fri seat cover na binigay s akin may abang na butas sa gilid for the the lumbar adjustment lever but the lever is not there.
