baka fuse nga. check nyo muna fuse. may spare naman yan na fuse and madali lang magpalit.

ibig bang sabihin sir separately fused ang front & rear signal lights? kc meron sa likod e. yung front right (inside the headlight assy) at sa may fender lang ang wala. will check anyway kung separately fused nga sya. tnx.

hi mga peeps. dinala ko sa casa unit ko last saturday. binaklas covers, checked the bulbs, sockets and fuses. bottom line di nila nahanap real culprit kung bakit nagluluko front-right turn signals ko. they even hooked up a laptop for diagnostics at sabi nila nag-loose lang daw isa sa mga relay/cable plugs sa relay box in the engine bay. ayun at umokey naman but then pag-alis ko, the first instance na ginamit ko at sinumpong ulit. hay buhay. hirap din pala ng masyadong hi-tech. ibalik ko n lng daw ulit later para ma-check nila properly. isabay na lang sa 5t pms. so tyaga muna ko. i hope walang masunog na wires.
badtrip pa, dahil less than 3 wks p lng oto ko at nagasgasan na corner ng rear bumper ko sa parking lot sa sm san fernando. kahit anong ingat mo talaga kung walang pakundangan ang makatabi mo sa parking e mag-iinit ulo mo.

IMHO, mahina pa ata mga mechanic ng kia to trouble shoot our Kia. Yung sa akin ganun din. Andun ang problem pero hindi nila ma solve. Anyway, they asked a Korean mechanic to check.. Siguro para hindi na mahirapan, columbian motors decided to replace a whole assembly. So far ok naman.

Tip... It they cannot solve the problem. Tell them to ask for an assistance from the plant. Insists mo agad.

tama ka sir imperialv. yun napansin ko. on another note, sa carens thread they seem to be quite updated sa mga regular kia "clinics" where they get to have their cars checked by korean experts or at least with guidance from guys direct from the factory. it would be nice kung makasama din sana tayo. just don't know where/how they get the schedules or announcements.... kelan kaya ang susunod at saan?...

Nagkaroon ng kia clinic last month sa alabang. Nasa out of the town lang kami kaya hindi ako nakapunta. Usually ata rotation yan...

btw, in fairnness naman, madali naman kausap ang planta basta walang problema sa stock

Ako short-listed ko din siya vs. Starex & Innova kaya please keep up with the updates! OO nga pala, may side impact beams ba ang Carnival? Napanood ko kasi sa TV ang kay Saguisag eh. Kung wala, baka biglang SF ako. hehehe.

got our carnival lx lwb a/t in replace to our innova G! what a great van.... it surpasses my expectations. fun to drive with inspite of its size. about 7-9 km/liter on mix city and highway driving. kids are enjoying it, they can move more freely than our innova. so far so great, no troubles as of this time. baggage? so coooooollll...... pasok pati igloo cooler and all our bags as we went for a trip. best part of it? power and speed inspite of its size!

Good morning mga peeps. Inquiry lang saan maganda magpa-rustproofing? balita ko kasi sa automobilkote sa balintawak meron silang iba't-ibang promo packages, like undercoat, full rustproofing, etc. with free engine detailing, interior detailing, etc. not to mention na may lifetime warranty daw that includes quarterly/semi-annual inspection & retouch. Last question would be, kung accredited ba sila ng kia? kasi kung sa full rustproofing e pati door panels babaklasin to access the insides for treatment. medyo worried ako na baka i-void ng kia ang warranty kung external party ang magbaklas ng panels, especially kung magkaroon ng problem sa re-fitting ng parts and components.

mga peeps, tanong ko lang kung may kasamang front tow hook sa toolbag ng mga carnivals nyo. nire-review ko kasi manual ko kahapon to figure out kung ano yung maliit na "round cover" sa bandang left ng front bumper. then sa page 6-16 ng manual it says may tow hook daw na kasama sa toolbag, so i checked it and there was none. what about yours? tia.

mga peeps, tanong ko lang kung may kasamang front tow hook sa toolbag ng mga carnivals nyo. nire-review ko kasi manual ko kahapon to figure out kung ano yung maliit na "round cover" sa bandang left ng front bumper. then sa page 6-16 ng manual it says may tow hook daw na kasama sa toolbag, so i checked it and there was none. what about yours? tia.

wala din ... hindi rin kasama yung cover ng spare tire...

anyway, i inquired sa kia sn fernando how much is full rust proofing (undercoat, door panels, etc.). mahal sya at P8,900 at hindi pa yata lifetime warranty. i think sa automobilkote is barely half the price with lifetime warranty coverage. anyone who has done rust proofing and/or undercoating? where & how much po? gusto ko sana magpa-rust proof e.

also, i noticed manipis pala paint ng carnival ntin. may tumalsik kasing maliit na bato sa sinusundan kong trak last week and when i washed my car last weekend i noticed na yung tinamaan actually had a peeled off paint. at parang wala yatang ng epoxy primer underneath. i think bakal agad yung nakalitaw. nakakasama ng loob. kc hindi sya gasgas, peel talaga. what have you done to protect your paints? i think i read sa thread ng innova that some of them talk of "paint protection" but not exactly sure what it is. any enlightenment from the group as to the process, cost & effectiveness?

yun akin is complete naman... i had the tow hook sa loob ng tool bag kasama yun pliers sa maliit na pocket tapos yun pambalot ng tire naman was in the upper console box...
just had my first change oil... whew,.,., 7 qrtz of oil!

mga bossing, model 08 ba yung mga carnival nyo? itinanong ko kc s kia pampanga at ang sabi nila even their other carnivals na dumating/ni-release this year daw e wala ding tow hook. nabanggit din ni teejae about "upper console box". do you mean yung dashboard mo ay may upper & lower na glove box? waahhh.... daya kung ganun kc yung akin lower lng meron. :dunno:

Jan, 08 ang carnival ko.. ang hirap kasi sa kia, depende ang dating galing korea ang unit.. Minsan may mga variations at bigla na lang iba.. Katulad yung aircons switch and upuan sa 2nd row, iba na ngayon.

Tahimik ang thread natin a? I got na my carnival ex lwb 2 weeks ago... masyado lang ako nag enjoy sa new navara ko kaya di ko sya nabigyan ng pansin. Pero bukas, gagamitin sya ng buong family. bahala na kung san kami umabot hangang monday sa norte. eto naman ang tetestingin ko sa sctex. Grrrrr....

Good luck. Compare mo kung ano mas malakas ang makina, yung navarra or yung carnival...
