    samin sir, 9km/li lang ang FC... steady lang na ganun.. though i've never tried to drive the carnival "economically"... yun bang mabagal na takbo lang... subukan ko siguro this weekend... i'll post the results then kung ano resulta na FC... fuel reserve sa pinagtanungan ko is about 5-8 li yata... di rin sila masyado sigurado pero most typically maybe around that daw.. correct me if i''m mistaken...

    hindi ko na maala ang price.. but got it from Kia Pasig. Eto kasi yung time na wala pa masyadong lumalabas ng rain visor for the carnival.. Try mo din sa seiring.. baka mayroon na dun.

    gusto ko din sana ito kaso diniscourage ako ng dealer dati.sabi nya pwede nga daw lagyan pero di nila nirerecommend dahil binubutasan daw usually yung bubong kung "functional" roof rail ang ilalagay, at yung butas could lead to leaks & rusts later on. i wonder kung may ibang options like "clip-on" rails.

    IMO, acceptable na fuel consumption ng carnival a/t with 2.9 displacement and curb weight of 2000+kgs. almost the same na sa 3.0 d4d fortuner but with lower curb weight( 1800-1900 kgs). and other car with the same displacement and curb weight.

    so far this past four days nag-level off na rin yata ko sa 9km/liter. kakainggit lng yung nasa Kia FC Database thread e. a 2007 SWB is hitting 11-12km/li daw for highway tapos yung isa naman 2003 model (Sedona) ay 12-15km/li. just dont know how realistic this figures are and whether it's for manual or matic tranny. nvertheless, sana mag-improve pa fc ko khit papaano.

    oo nga pala mga peeps, may carnival club na ba? pasali nman o.

    my ride is in kia pasay.. bait ng columbian motors, they replaced the whole steering assembly (including rack-end) and rotor disc.. Hopefully, it will be out on friday since coding today tomorrow..

    Etong part yung nagkaproblem...




    Instead buong assembly ang pinalitan...

    May i know what happened to your carnival? What were the symptoms that you felt/saw/heard before you and your Kia dealer found out about the problem?

    If your car is still under warranty, isn't it just right that they replace the defective parts at no cost to the customer? Was it extra ordinary for a dealer like Kia Pasay to have done that?

    I might consider them also. I've been hearing a lot of good things about Kia dealers in MM. I placed my order already btw. Wala pa nga lang stock,,,

    as i said in my previous post.. Yung upper part lang ng steering assembly ang dapat palitan. But instead the whole steering assembly. Pati tie-rod sinama.

    Yes. It's under warranty. No costs.. Eto yung symptom ng steering.. May maingay na hissing sound kapag nag steering ka.. You can hear this if you are running slow.

    Sinabay ko na din yung disc rotor. Pati brake pads bago.. Sa ibang brand, hindi nila sinasama ang brake pads for warranty. Pero ang columbia sinama pati brake pad.

    Mabilis ang trabaho.. 1 1/2 day lang ang consume..

    tama nga.. walang stock ang EX.. puro LX lang

    mga peeps, may ride is barely two weeks old and my front-right & right-fender turn (signal) lights suddenly stopped working. imposible namang busted bulb dahil sabay nawala. ok naman sa likod. loose terminal connections kaya or busted fuse? any help is much appreciated. tia.

    baka fuse nga. check nyo muna fuse. may spare naman yan na fuse and madali lang magpalit.
