sa engine bay yun. there are two plugs na may tatak na "delphi". yun lang nman ginalaw nila. unplug then re-plug lang ginawa nya. multi-pin yun na plug. so in case you try to do it on your own ingat lang baka may mabaluktot or mabaling pin/s. inalis lng nya key sa ignition switch. di na nya tinanggal battery connection when he did it. HTH.

hindi naayos.. They need to sent my unit sa columbian (3rd time around).. Mukhang guinea pig yung kotse ko.. anyway, may isang module ang sira so they need to replace it.. Bukas maayos na.

btw, had my 10t pms last saturday. inabot ako ng P4,800+. mineral oil lng ginamit. ayaw nila either maglagay ng synthetic oil or magdala ng own oil. mavo-void daw warranty. what about other casas, ganon din kaya? nilalagay kc nila is mineral na 15w40. gusto ko sana e synthetic na 5w30 for more fuel efficiency. extreme kc masyado yung 15w40. sbi pa nila ala daw s recommended oil yung 5w30, e nung pinakita ko yung nakasulat s manual sbi ba nman "it's up to you kung gusto mo pero ma-void ang warranty dahil kia mineral oil dapat as per instruction ng planta." for all i know petron universal oil ang ginagamit nila, may tatak lang na kia. tapos gusto nila ko bentahan ng tiptop brand na oil additive, ngek. i wonder kung yun din ang instruction ng plant. d nga ko nagpalagay. 600 din yung isang lata. ang di ko pa maintindihan, sa manual is every 15t km (10t km for severe conditions) dapat ang pms sched, pero again sabi daw ng planta is every 5t km. ang labo, wala man lang tayong ready reference kung ano service menu every 5t. pera-pera lang ata usapan e.

Yep. Its true to all dealers ng Kia.. Kailangan Kia oil lang ang pwedeng gamitin...

Yung fusebox sa labas ng engine bay.. Yun ang lahat pinalitan. The part will cost around 20K+ but fortunately, it is covered by warranty.

btw, for those are planning to replace the battery, make sure that the ampere is 100 otherwise masisira ang alternator natin. Kaya yun mga motolite hindi pwede. Yung 1st gen carnival madami ang nasirang alternator because of low ampere.. Check nyo na lang yun kabilang forum.

bilis yata bumigay ng battery mo. ilang months/years mo na gamit? aftermarket na ba ipinalit mo o sa casa p rin? if it's the former, pa-post exact type na ipinalit mo & the cost. if the latter, under warranty ba ang pagpapalit? tia.

One year lang ang warranty natin.. Jan, 08 ang carnival ko.. actually sa tester, 50% capacity na lang.. Na double check ko sa labas just to make sure na hindi na magtatagal ang battery.. Since I will be using my car out of town next week, pinapalitan ko na.. Mahirap na tumirik sa province.

Yung motolite, kahit yung excel has only 70+ amps lang, kaya hindi pwede sa kia natin. Mayroon discussion kung anong pwedeng battery dun sa forum ng carnival (gen1).. Pero ako, since tamad na akong umiikot, I decided to get yung Rocket na brand.. PHP9,200 ang damage. Sabi ng distributor ng Rocket hindi sila nagbebenta outside ng casa..

RE: Battery

What symptoms have you noticed before your batteries conked out? My other cars didn't have any... lakas pa nga nag-start, usually pag binalikan ko na wala na. I'm just wondering, is it because my cars have A/T? Good thing I always keep a motolite's express delivery number with me.

It scares me to imagine my kids getting stuck somewhere coming from and/or going to school.

So far so good with my carnival... 10k pms coming up soon. I might press Kia to replace my rotors this time.

Saan dealer yan? Buti pumayag na ibang motor oil ang gamitin mo? Columbian Motors is strict on that specially if the car is still under warranty.

d2 samin lagi nauubusan ng oil ang kia at ang pinapalit nila is yun Valvoline... now im using caltex delo SPORT 15w-40, synthetic blend. medyo tahimik na un engine at ganda na ng hatak!

hmmm.. pwede pala yun.. Napansin ko din na yung Kia oil medyo maingay yung engine.

Regarding sa battery. Wala naman pinagbago.. Kaso na check ng casa yung level ng battery ko which is 50% na lang ang capacity. Pina double check ko sa labas at pareho ang finding.. I decided to have it replaced agad since we were scheduled to have out of town.

Try to cruise at around 100KM/H and brake it slowly.. Kung may naramdaman kang vibrating sa steering chances are nag warp ang rotor disc...

you mean the brake pads are more durable than the disc rotor?...baliktad ata..hahaha
