I agree: that is a steal! I would not want a roof rack unless it was factory installed, but I guess your requirements are different. My unit will be having its first 5,000 km PMS tomorrow, and I will stick to that interval. My previous van was a CRDI-powered MB, and that too was serviced every 5,000 kms.

Thanks guys! that makes me feel better about the buy. actually, we saved almost 400T plus the dream car to boot! i guess i'll also stick to the 5000 pms sked.

i also want seat covers from seat mate. oh well, the alarm is top priority for now. thanks again guys and keep the tips coming!

Stick-on type na roof rails? I presume you want them to be decorative rather than functional. I agree with the seat covers from Seatmate. That's where mine came from. You might also want them to change the sidings to match the seat covers, but they recommend doing that later when the sidings are already dirty. The only other addition to my unit was a ceiling-mounted, 8" DVD player. Great to keep passengers occupied; obstructed nga lang yung rear-view mo.

yes sir for decorative lang but like original na design parang kulang kasi if no roof rails...no problem with the cargo my unit is only 5 seaters. ...my unit is silver maybe a black leather like seatcover will do.

hi, i'm new here and i'm planning to buy swb lx a/t 8seater (or 7seater lang yata). ung price dito sa prob 1.3M. why is there a 1.29M lwb lx a/t 8 seater ? mas mura yata ung lwb sa swb?

Mali po ata yang pricelist mo sir. I'm holding one from cubao LWB na A/T, LX 1,525,000... pero kung meron, sir, paki point out naman which dealer... kukuha ako. :D


I'm still thinking wether to get the LWB or SWB, pagba 6 Adults nakasakay sa SWB, wala na ba talaga luggage space? madalas kasi kami mag out of town e, which actually is the primary use for this van if ever we decide to get one...Tapos po ano yung roof rails? for mounting a roof rack po ba yun? hassle naman pala talaga kung wala pa pang carnival... lalo na sa SWB. Baka eto pa maging decidng factor sa pagpili ko...

I'm a new Kia Carnival SWB owner. Very happy with its performance.

The only thing is I really don't like the cheap looking floor matt it came with, so I ordered OEM carpet for it, 7K but it's for LWB and to my surprise it's not available for SWB even i Korea. Any one know where I can buy quality custom made carpet for my SWB?

AFAIK, meron nang long wheel base na LX (A/T) variant ng carnival at 1.39M. 1.3 M naman A/T na short wheel base. Check mo na lang sa website ng KIA Philippines.

Thanks po. anyway, hindi sha dumating, nag runover daw meeting nya ng 2PM. so dadalin ko na lang bukas sa kanya.

yung pricelist po parang luma na kahit as of june 2008... kasi lahat ng cars sa lineup mas mataas sa pricelist na hawak ko... Tapos sabi sa akin kanina sa silver city magtataas daw sila sa July, so malamang lang hindi bababa ngayon...

hi everyone. there might be a slight problem with our electronic sliding door. if you notice that the doors are not operating properly please have it check with your dealer.

i already talked to my dealer and i am waiting for my schedule.

BTW, the problem is alignment. The door will close but you need to do it twice since the door will open again after you close it for the 1st time. Columbian has a technical bulletin about it.

got our carnival last wednesday. haven't driven it yet though. hayaan ko muna sila magsawa. at nag-eenjoy pa ako sa picanto ko.

advise lang, nagtaas daw ang Kia nung july 2 sa SWB LX at EX. 95thousand. so the SWB LX is now 1.395M. we got ours at 1.3M nung july 2 so i guess nakadiscount kami? hehe... LWB prices are unchanged.

sabi na nga ba ganun mangyayari e. kaya hindi kami kumuha ng EX. hindi ba pwede off mo muna yung auto doors for the meantime?
