Teka, umm... how do you hide your MP3 player in the center console? Won't the wire be seen trailing from your HU to the center console pa rin? Gusto ko kasi sana yung remote aux wire or MP3 cable be hidden "inside" the car so that the wire will trail underneath the visible interior and only show itself inside the center console already - para malinis

Actually, you're right about the gray being pretty light in shade - so siguro dumihin din... I'll try to convince my wife on the Almond Beige color again... Hehehe....

Maganda talaga yung almond beige 'low maintenance' kasi, kahit madumi na, hindi pa rin halata, unlike yung dark colors (black, indigo blue, volcanic red), once umulan, or ma-alikabukan, halatang halata na yung dumi

Wala akong pic dito sa PC ko sa office eh, post ko na lang paguwi ko... more or less, eto rin yung blue:

IMO, parang hindi bagay sa kanya yung mga chrome (handles, grill, door)

Iba yung warranty nung HU, so if nasira yung HU ko (JVC jologs), I have to return it to JVC, not the casa. So if you mess up your HU, I don't think it will void the warranty with KIA, unless ma short mo and masira din yung electrical nung car, which is highly unlikely kung yung AUX input lang ang gagalawin mo.

thanks master_chief711. lx kasi kukunin kong unit kaya with black front and black side mirrors, i'm thinking of silver and possibly indigo blue. kung meron gray sana, tapos na problem ko. and yung black, na ayaw naman ng family ko. yung red, out of the question kasi red na yung car ko ngayon.

^Thanks mqavila. I'm actually preparing for the near future that we'll have another baby But the 1.8s civic and lx crdi carens are of the same price basically with 13k discount pa for our company for the civic, kaya medyo toss up though i'm leaning towards the carens.

Additionally, twice a year, may out of town family namin and my dad brings his fortuner. On two occasions, iwan ako sa convoy and ang gastos pa sa gas nung lancer ko. With the carens hindi naman na ako siguro maiiwan and tipid na rin fuel expenses ko, hehe.

Just my two cents worth sir...had the same predicament as to what car to get. Initially, I was hell bent on getting a civic but with the unrelenting increases on the price of fuel, I opted for the miser one. This does not mean I had to compromise, its actually a good choice, performance wise the carens is not at all wanting, it will meet your expectations or even exceed it as in my case.
I also factored in the near future, planning to have our own bundle of joy soon, so I opted for the frugal and practical choice, thus the carens it is

BTW, you can even smoke your old man's fortuner hehe, granting that its a 2.5. My old man tried this once when he took the carens for a spin, a fortuner was tailgating him and when the fortuner was about to overtake he stepped on the gas...alang sinabi ung fortuner hehe...happen to have a groovy dad

hope uL join the growing carens family hehehe, it all boils down to individual preferences pa rin...

Wag ka na mag Indigo Blue! Silver ka na lang! heheheheh! Dami ko nakikita na silver carens sa daan, as for the indigo blue, once pa lang ako nakakita, CVVT pa!
